Easy install with the provided instructions and the handy stickers for labeling wires. I was able to get it connected to my wifi on the first try. Then I linked it to Alexa and now I have voice control of my lights!I also like that it makes a satisfying “tap” sound when activated compared to the loud “clack” sound of a traditional panel toggle switch. The LED has a subtle, soft glow. Not glaring at night but still bright enough for the daytime….perhaps it auto-dims?

Will not work with Alexa if you have an iPhone.
This is deceptive advertising. I hooked up the switch, loaded the app Treatlife, and tried to connect it. Because I was using an iPhone, it forced me to go to apple home app. I don’t have an apple TV so there is no hub. Because of that, I can’t schedule a timer, can’t connect it to Alexa, so it is a dumb switch. I tried multiple ways to load the switch on to different apps, but it kept forcing me back to apple home. Totally returning it.

Love these for Home Automation
I use these in a number of places to turn on lights with voice commands or using Alexa Routines. I like getting up early in the morning and the kitchen lights are already on instead of walking into a dark kitchen and flipping a switch. These are also nice because other family members who struggle with the technology can still operate the light switch in the old school way. I have Ceiling fan controllers. I have many dimmers, including dimmers on the cafe lights on the deck and across the back yard. All are Treatlife. Only complaint is they sometimes lose touch with the network and have to be reconnected. Nonetheless I keep buying them. Set up and reconnecting them is a pretty easy process..

Tricky install but good afterwards
Tricky to get the app to connect to it to add device. Must use AP mode to connect, not 3 other modes that are more visible than AP mode. Then it requires good timing with the device in a brief pairing mode and a few tries to get the device to connect. Good once it works. No issues after getting it connected. It should explain how to make a few automations such as making a timed switch. My photo shows how.

Easy install and even easier setup. The app discovers the devices quickly and easily connects with Alexa. All Treatlife devices reconnect themselves after a power outtage and internet outtages. Great layout and options in app. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend!

Works flawlessly straight out of the box
I already have several TreatLife smart switches and bulbs, so adding these two was very straightforward. Took just a couple of minutes and all my devices are easily managed from the app on my phone. Works great BUT beware
Installing the switch in the wall was a piece of cake. Instructions for this was straight forward. Now comes the reason for the 3 stars. After doing the physical installation you download the app, no problem. Then you start the set up and up pops a screen to fill out your information to register the device. It asks for all kinds of info including payment info for annual subscription or what ever it was. Turns out it was a scam that they had put in the set up. I didnât complete the form because I didnât want to pay a subscription and deleted all information. Within a few minutes we got a notice from our bank that a $1 charger was made and the bank immediately cancelled the card. The following day there were 3 different attempts to use the card. The bank issued a new card but at Christmas time this was an inconvenience. JUST BE WARE of this company.
