Great little camera
I needed another wireless camera to monitor indoors that would work and night and was 1080p or higher and figured I would try out another zmodo. I currently have a ring doorbells that the video gets wonky and several other zmodo products for video. Picture on this little guy is fantastic and the night vision works good too so far.Setup was a breeze unlike some older models. Open the app, connect to wifi and show the QR code to the camera and a minute later it was in my app and working. Audio is ok, some delay which is normal if sitting right next to it but if you are away you will never notice.Great wide angle lens too which gets a nice shot of the room you are monitoring.Camera comes with a funky little adjustable bracket and then another piece you can screw to the wall or ceiling and then click the bracket on.Great little camera for short money

Great features for a low price point
I’ve used a few security cameras in the past, all boasting great quality, ease of use and premium features. This one seems to hit most of those claims.The box arrived in an unmarked, plain white box, which seemed a little weird to me. I’m used to product packaging that boasts the unit’s features or app compatibility. Inside you’ll find the tight and neatly packaging contents, including the camera, wall mount bracket, wall mounting screws, AC adapter and setup instructions.The app setup was simple and relatively intuitive. However, I was a bit concerned with how many permissions the app requested. But, I suppose they’re all needed for the security features to function properly. While the product boasts Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility, I was unable to figure out what features were usable, as they weren’t explained in the instructions. Connecting the account to my Google Home app didn’t seem to give me any more capability.The camera itself seems of good build quality and size, especially considering its full 1080p capture. The wide angle view does not distort much, but captures the entirety of a small room perfectly. The motion alerts are quick and effective, keeping a running snapshot history in your Zmodo account. The device even comes with a free trial of their cloud storage. After that, there’s two options: its $5/month for 7 days of recording or $10/month for 30 days recording. The pricing puts it on par with most other video cloud storage systems available.At this price point, there’s very few factors worth complaining about. However, I will note that the speaker on the unit has a very low volume, even when set to high. It was hard to hear, even when I was speaking loudly into the phone. Otherwise, I’d say its a great camera for a really low price!

Great product but setup could be tedious!
I have more than half a dozen 720p Mini pros before and my wish then was for improved photo resolution. Decided to try out the 1080p Mini pro and it has most certainly fulfilled my wish. The quality of the video is certainly an improvement over the older model and I am very happy with that. The angle of view has also improved from 110 to 130 degrees so that is also good and I did not detect any “fish-eye” effect. Motion dectection and night vision was the same as the older model. The only short-coming is that setting up the camera was somewhat tedious and I had to try many times before the camera(s) could be registered with the app – I find great difficulty in getting the camera to be in the right position and distance in order to scan the barcode. Other than that, the camera has been reliable and fantastic!

Affordable. Easy. Happy customer.
I needed a camera to keep an eye on my dogs when I left the house. This was an easy install and affordable solution. You view the camera using an App, or via a browser (Log into the Zmodo website first). From there you can see Live, or choose Playback. The app and website is responsive. Night vision is good, and picture quality is good. The camera has a built-in speaker, so I can talk to my dog! 🙂 You can add up to 4 devices and view them all in one screen. Or seperately. Motion alerts also work well.If you go through the installation instructions and able to get a blue light on the camera, but still unable to successfully add the device, then follow the Me / Contact Support option within the app where you get to chat in real time with Zmodo support. They were able to resolve my query within 5 minutes. Well done Zmodo for exceeding my expectations.
