AI-Based Alerts: Equipped with the latest Edge Computing enabled chip, the YI Dome Camera U can detect human figures, reducing “false alarms” caused by insects or pets.
Complete coverage with 360° Tracking: The YI Dome Camera U features direction control, bookmarkable locations, and motion tracking, allowing this camera to track up to 340° horizontally & 90° vertically to create 360° coverage.
Clear Color Night Vision: Seely clearly at night and record clips in 1080p. Thanks to an array of IR lights, the YI Dome Camera U provides bright images even during the darkest night.
Secure and Private: The YI Dome Camera U was made with privacy in mind. Simply flip the lid of the camera to turn on “Sleep Mode” whenever you want to disable the camera’s ability to record and set a PIN Code in the YI Home APP for an extra layer of protection.
Reliable in any condition: Wide operating temperature range (between -10º to 50°C) to suit any conditions.
Keep Your Memories Stored in the Cloud: Store your alerts and recordings within our optional YI Cloud service. Great camera
This is a great camera for the price. It has a crystal clear vivid picture and the fact that you can pan and tilt means you don’t need as many cameras to view one room.

This is a great little security camera.
The quality of the sub camera is great very clear. You can hear things almost amplified and I love that. I can talk to my dogs when Iâm away.

Great value, but a little flaky and weird
I’ve been using Yi cameras for a few years now, and I’ve found them to be a good value but a little flaky at times.Positive:- Nice feature set, including free features that some manufacturers view as premium features- No need to subscribe to a cloud service if you install an SD card- Nice industrial design- Audio/video syncing issues with previous versions might be fixed: Earlier versions of these cameras could let audio and video get out of sync by several seconds in recordings. So far, this has not happened with these cameras.- Very easy set up.Negative:- The Yi software can be flaky. Features sometimes disappear or stop working, and it can take a few weeks or months for things to work properly again.- Does not tilt down very far.- Occasional network connectivity issues even with strong internet connections. (In fairness, the same thing happens with other products, such as Ring.)- Unlike previous Yi cameras, these seem to require the use of the included cable to power the cameras. Despite appearing to have a standard micro-USB connector, I was unable to get any of my other micro-USB cables to power these cameras.- High latency in camera movement commands: Even with a great internet connection, it can sometimes take 2-3 seconds for a camera movement command to register.- Mediocre low light performance: By the standards of 5 years ago, these would be fine, but the low-light sensor performance in these cameras seems a bit outdated now.

Mediocre product; subscription is a scam
UPDATE: Lowering my rating to 1 because my pet destroyed the power cable, which should be an easy replacement, but standard cables won’t work with this product (they plug in but the camera won’t work). I even bought high performance cables and it still doesn’t work, it will literally only work with their own cables. And there’s no option to just purchase a replacement cable from the company because they have ZERO product support. No way to contact them, at all. These are basically disposable cameras at this point. Save your money.First of all, this product is COMPLETELY useless without paying for a subscription. Unless you’re just looking for a live security camera with no recording ability, you need to pay for a subscription. I did the one week trial and then paid for a full year subscription, but less than a week after my payment went through, the cloud service stopped working anyway. Even though my purchase history clearly shows that I was charged for the plan, the cameras won’t record and it tells me I need to upgrade again. The “customer support” is useless – it’s a very poorly made bot that will never get you to a live person. On the hardware side, the camera works fine but is not great. The design limits visibility so you really need to mount it to a wall or ceiling if you want decent coverage of your room. If you set it on a table, the plastic will block it from seeing anything more than about 20 degrees down. The motion detection is hit or miss – catches a lot of minor lighting changes but sometimes misses entire people or animals right in the middle of the field of view. The motion tracking is pretty awful; it swivels to correctly track activity maybe 20% of the time and the rest of the time just swivels excessively for no reason, often turning itself to face a wall and away from the activity. The night vision is just alright; it’s not amazing but it works as long as there’s a bit of ambient light. I suspect it would not work if it was pitch black.Overall, not the best product considering that the cost of the device plus subscription means you’ll spend hundreds over a few years. If they even decide to give you the service you paid for, that is.

Quality is good.
Works good, haven’t had any major problems. Couldn’t connect with my other Yi camera, had to do another account, but over all it works great.

not super good! not super bad !
too slow. if you trying to see something on time it will be gone before you even get to see it.camera quality is not good, Motion detection is so annoying, night vision blurry most of the time, if you turn on light and turn it off it takes few minutes to go back to night vision again.
