Best camera they’ve made so far.
I recommend this camera to everyone I meet needing a cost effective reliable camera. The Wyze 2K camera is an impressive upgrade for anyone seeking reliable home security with enhanced clarity. One of its standout features is the exceptional night vision, which delivers crisp and detailed footage even without the aid of LED lights. This capability ensures clear visuals in total darkness, setting it apart from many competitors. Additionally, the updated user interface is notably faster and more responsive than older models, making setup and navigation much smoother. These improvements enhance the overall user experience and reinforce Wyze’s reputation for delivering high-quality yet affordable security solutions.However, a few considerations come with the upgraded resolution. While the 2K clarity is a significant improvement over 1080p cameras, it does consume more storage space, meaning you’ll likely need a larger SD card for continuous recording. I currently use a 64GB card, but I would recommend opting for a higher capacity to accommodate the increased data usage. This minor adjustment will ensure you can fully take advantage of the camera’s capabilities without frequently running out of storage. Overall, the Wyze 2K camera is a worthwhile investment for its superior night vision, improved UI, and robust performance, though storage planning is key to maximizing its potential.

Amazing security cameras for the price
I am a big fan of Wyze Labs products. I have used their v1 cameras for years. I also have their smart thermostat. I finally upgraded to these new v4 cameras. They are fantastic. Extremely easy to set up, excellent wide field of view, great night vision, and the spotlight feature is really effective. I have five of these now in/around my home.

Great camera for a great price!
I have been a Wyze customer since 2019. I have near 30 Wyze cameras of varying models between my home and office. I have been extremely pleased with their products, service and prices.The camera: This camera having 2.5K image quality is definitely one of the most impressive! The colors are vivid and the picture is sharp as you can see in my images. The motion detection is great and has a motion feature that allows you to see where in the frame the camera detected movement by outlining with a green box. I have even been able to stop potential thieves because of motion notifications. I do not use the spotlight since all of my v4 cameras are either indoors or looking out of a window. With this being said, the night vision works very well in low light. For my cameras that sit in windows, I have the infrared lights turned off to prevent them reflecting back from the glass. I also turn the status light off on all of my cameras to keep my them from being so obvious. I have detection zones drawn so that I don’t get unnecessary motion from traffic on the road. The settings are super customizable in the app. The sound is pretty crisp too. A 6-foot, flat cord allows for flexible placement.The app: The quality of the app is just as important as the camera itself. Without the ability to easily view live videos and retrieve recordings, the camera is useless. I use the iOS version of the Wyze app and don’t run into any issues. I do not pay for the subscription. Instead, I use a $5 microSD card that continuously records. The card, along with Wyze’s FREE cloud option is sufficient for my use. When using the microSD option, you are able to drag on a timeline to playback specific times. On the timeline, you can also see times when motion was detected (specified by a waving hand). You can actually click the hand in order to playback that specific motion event.5 stars for a wonderful system all around. I will definitely continue buying Wyze products.

Pretty awesome camera. I’ve had Wyze cams since the V1 and this is the best so far. Responsive too and love that it has a built in light….. pretty amazing for the price.
