    So Impressed!!
    I got one of these years ago to keep an eye on my cat food dispenser when we were on vacation to make sure it didn’t malfunction. We recently got a puppy so I got another one to keep an eye on what he’s up to in his crate while gone for the day. It is really easy to set up the camera using the app, and just as easy to add additional cameras. The app itself is easy to use as well. The picture quality is phenomenal, and the night vision is excellent. I’ve never used it outside, but the cord has a rubber sheath over it where it disconnects to keep moisture out. It’s simple to mount anywhere using the magnetic mounting option. That also makes it detachable so you can move it around easily. I’ve also never used the SD card option to be able to save the video and review it, but it’s nice to know that function is available if I wanted to. Also, I love that you can remotely listen to, and even speak to anyone (or any dog) who is near the camera if you wanted and the motion detector works great too. I’ve used it to see my cats when they come to the food bowl so I know they are still eating and happy, and haven’t locked themselves in a closet accidentally or gotten out when the cat visitor comes and goes to clean their litter boxes. It’s an easy thing to turn on and shut off too because it can get distracting if you don’t want to hear it all day every day. Get these cameras! They are awesome!

    Great clear camera
    I bought 4 of these to replace my older V2 versions. They do not fissapoint and whatva price point on sale. The night vision is crystal clear and bright colors. I boughtbthe new V4 cams but they stink compared to the V3. I never could get them to hook up to my distemper and WYZE customer service stinks now. Off showed and supposed techs reading from a script were no help. So back to the V3 as I have had not 1 problem with them and I even bought some for my son. Buy the V3 forget the junky V4

    Great house monitoring camera
    I purchased two of these cameras to use while I was on vacation–mostly to keep an eye on my pets, but also to have a video record of anyone coming into my home while I was away. They worked like a charm. When I set them up, I missed the note about adding a storage card, and as a result had limited access to recordings, but otherwise, it was a wonderful resource.

    Google Home Integration will NOT Work.
    First if you plan to use this with your Google Nest Hubs or Google home app do NOT buy this. Google Home integration will NOT work. Integration is still advertised and available, but I’ve been trying different things for over a year, and it still does not work. Reading forums I am not the only one. I only took off one star for this because otherwise this is a good camera.Other than that, this is a solid camera. The WYZE app works great, the ability to have local storage is amazing (no subscription required). The quality is good enough. I even had this sitting in a drawer for a month or two and it booted right up with no issues.If this worked with Google Home I’d buy a ton of these but personally I am looking elsewhere. Don’t advertise a feature then not support it.

    Very good at the price point and Excellent support from Wyze
    I have 6 of these around my house and also 2 at a neighbors walkway to keep a eye on the foot traffic that is used by trespassers in that area. Those two operate on a different wifi at a ISP other than mine, but the software integrates all of them seamlessly. That is never mentioned about the system, but it is big plus if you need to have cameras at several different locations on different ISPs. Actually, it is possible to have them anywhere on the globe! -Although that is a plus it is also a minus, because , as a technical reality, the cameras are a fully internet dependent system. So if for any reason the Wyze servers go down or have issues you will lose your video. Also that internet dependance allows them to charge you for your video feed and enhancements like unlimited capture time. This would be deal killer for a commercial use of the cameras, but for home use that is not mission critical they represent a real value and I would reccomend you give one a try and see what you think.One more point: Out of the 8 I have i did have two that have failed over the 3 years that they have been here. I found wyze customer support to be excellent, and they even replaced one that was well out of the 1 year warranty period. I give them 5 stars plus for that !!

    Currently using wyze cam and Google Nest outdoor cam, and I have to say Wyze has WAY BETTER picture quality and night vision than the nest cam. It’s easier to install and subscription is cheaper.
