    I love these little camera’s, i get to keep track of everything that goes on in my house. I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom. It’s fun to watch my animals, and it tells you if it’s a person or a pet. Worth every penny, now i can see if my daughter is borrowing my makeup!!

    Easy to setup and use…
    Make sure you have a Micro-USB Card for backup. I also bought the Windows Mount which is designed for this camera. Images are clear and detailed. You may also adjust the Settings to UHD quality if you need additional detail. Definitely would purchase again.

    Misleading set up
    Let me just say this camera works fine. I have other wyze cameras and this is of the same quality.My only gripe is the setup. It took me ages to get past the QR code scanner link up. I was about to give up until I set it’s up as a v2 camera instead of the as advertised v3.Then it worked.Great quality and very responsive camera. Yes there are better cameras out there but you will be paying double, triple.

    Outstanding Camera
    I own several Wyze cameras, and this one is as fantastic as all the other v3 cameras around my home and garage. This one being black blends in nicely at night, which I prefer because it’s less likely to be spotted at night and stolen/disabled. The camera is made very well, it switches from color to monochrome mode automatically, the IR night vision lights come on automatically and can be switched off to avoid reflections if it’s looking through glass, it runs off USB 5vDC with a MicroUSB connector, the base swivels and articulates, and it can be attached mechanically with a screw or it sticks to a metal surface, you can talk and listen through it via the app, and it holds up well in cold/hot climates. Motion events are uploaded to the Wyze servers, and you can optionally insert a MicroSD card which holds continuous and/or motion video events beyond the seven day limit if you’re not subscribed to their paid storage plan. If you want/need the additional features you can pay their fees. Either way you’ll be able to access the events on your MicroSD card remotely through your own network.The software is robust, stable, and very feature-rich. I won’t go into details since this review is specific to the camera, but know that the interface is a proven and refined interface that works well with this hardware.This camera needs to connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. That’s not usually a problem since every router I’ve ever worked with has that capability, but FYI anyway. It’s easy to set up through the app which steps you through the process. No advanced technical skills needed to get the camera working, but learning the numerous app features will take some time and patience.
