    Great Entry Level Security Cam. All The Basics And More!
    I am a novice at this stuff. Never had a security cam before. But, for an entry level cam, this WYZE OG totally rocks! Setup was relatively simple, and it has all the necessary functions the average homeowner needs. I have it connected to my Android phone and my iPad via the appropriate apps. Connection to Wi-Fi was simple, and 256gb micro card (not included) is sufficient. Our router is about 15 feet away through 1 wall. It face detects, package delivery detection, vehicle detection, mic and speaker, notifications too. Now, I did opt for the subscription to get all the features, but $20/year is a small price. It captures pics, videos and can live stream. Instant notifications of movement, sound, people and vehicles. The color is great day or night (low light). 120 degree field of view is good enough for us, and resolution seems great. We can see our front porch, walkway, driveway and the cul-de-sac street. Granted, we may not be able to read distant license plates, but that’s not a deal breaker. More expensive security cameras may have higher resolution to pick those up, but for a beginner, this WYZE OG is beyond expectations. Two pics are from live streaming daytime and nighttime. Happy for now!

    These are great. They have better IR cameras than you’d expect, and turning on the LED light actually brightens up the field of view more than you’d expect. Solid so far in some pretty nasty storms. Adding a 32gb card gives you about 3 1/2 days of recording capability for HD. The app is actually pretty good, and you can set up a main page to scroll important cameras. You can also choose up to four cameras for a “monitoring” page where you can view them all simultaneously. Only issue is that on IR at night, faster moving items like running animals may only appear as a streak of white – no such issues in daylight. Fairly easy to access memory card on each camera and even record video to your device. Nice value when on sale for under $20 each. *Note: use a fully formatted MicroSD card, NOT a quick formatted, as it can sometimes cause an error and stop recording.

    This camera is amazing for the price. The camera quality is good. The night camera is clear! The sound is also clear. However, when you use the voice function through the camera it’s a little generic sounding, meaning the quality is not good. Most is great as well. I highly recommend.
