    Nice Colors, Brightness; Needs Controller and Power
    These light strips were just what I wanted. When the lights are connected to a controller box and 12v power, they produce smooth transitions of bright colors in many patterns (mine responds to music!). Make sure you wire them to the correct polarity (+/-) or they will fry. The individual LEDs are visible up close but much less so than non-COB strips.

    Very nice light strips
    Very nice strip and good color. It does not include a controller but there are many to choose from as suggested by the seller. I hadn’t tried this brand before but it seems like very good packaging as well as the quality of the soldered pigtails and the accessories that are included.The density of LED’s is very good at 820/m. A lot of the COB style RGB lights don’t have a high density of controllers per LED pair, so sometimes the individually addressable LED lights give a better effect with each LED being a different color. This is a good compromise and gives a decent amount of each individual color to chip controller. Effects are very fast, even with 120 controller ICs on the strip.

    a great and bright set of lights
    I received this product through Amazon Vine, and I’ve been very happy with this line of products. The bright lights that come with it are fantastic. As mentioned in the description, it doesn’t include a power source, but I had one from another project, so that wasn’t an issue for me.I really do appreciate how incredibly bright the lights are. While I did encounter a few lights that weren’t working, overall, I think this is a great light strip. I love that they provide cables to adjust the size and allow for continued connectivity with extra pieces. Although I haven’t tested that feature out yet, as I’m still deciding whether to install these lights in my studio or office area, I’m really happy with the brightness and simplicity of use.Overall, I find this light strip to be a great addition to my space, and I look forward to experimenting more with its features.

    Decent WS2811 Strip
    I got this for cabinet underlighting. I swapped out the controller it came with for one that I can integrate into Home Assistant. I like that the strip’s LEDs have a small light diffuser built in. You can still see the individual diodes if you’re looking right at the strip, but it does make generally diffused light source when it isn’t directly visible. I thought the strip connector (to join cut strips) was a good idea in theory, but in practice it was far too finicky for me to keep in place (loose connections) – I ended up just soldering the strips. I also think they should include a couple more plastic clamps to hold the strip down – I don’t think 2-3 clamps is enough for 16ft.

    mportant: This FCOB COB WS2811 LED strip comes ONLY with the lights. You MUST purchase a compatible controller and power supply separately. It’s frustrating if you’re not prepared for that extra cost and hassle (that was me – I just missed this fact in the description because I’ve never purchased tape lighting without a controller included.Once powered up, these lights are fantastic! The colors are vivid, the white is true and pure, and the density makes for smooth, even lighting. The ability to create patterns and chases depends on the controller you choose, but the potential is there for cool effects.

    THIS IS NOT TRUE 720/M
    this trash strip is not genuinely 720/m led controlled. it’s 100 segments of 10 ARGB leds so in essence you can only control 100 pixels (10 LED wide). I’M looking for genuinely segmented 720/m controlled LEDs. and why 24v?? couldn’t do it with12v?
