Excellent video door phone and meets my all demands
The transmisioon quality of image and sound are clear and fluently. It’s performance is good, data is stored in the TF card that save my money from monthly subscription, no extra fees will be charged. I can view the events on the monitor or cell phone. When somebody approach my door or press the doorbell, both the monitor and my cell phone will receive the notification, so that I can know who is coming to my house no matter I am at home or not, and I can remote unlock the door, quite convenient for my family. This video door phone is really wireless, the indoor and outdoor device can be used immediately after opening the package, keeps me from complex installation. One point I like most is the monitor, touch screen design is vey useful and friendly for users. Great value for money！

Plug and Play Easy
Bought this to provide front door security for my elderly mother in law. I installed it last week and it truly is a plug and play network product. Just power it on and it works. Wow. I believe this is the perfect security camera system for someone who rents and not allowed to drill holes, run cables, add power outlets or use a WiFi. The AceBell outside doorway camera runs off a rechargeable battery and provides color video, motion detection, and two way audio. The 7 inch indoor color display does require an electrical power source but provides a clear bright image with audio and records who is at the door. The system has its own WiFi so it does not require use of the home or business WiFi. A bonus of this is you don’t get the very annoying advertisements on the indoor camera display all day long that other products get that are connected to the home WiFi/Internet . One thing not in the instruction booklet is you need to charge the camera battery before using the camera. Overall, one of the best home security products for the money.

I still cannot believe how GOOD this system is!!Door bell looks clean without any big tacky brand stamped on it.* had it for almost a month now. Battery is still at 100%. LONG lasting battery.*picture is very CLEAR day & night.*I can answer door bell from my phone or from the LCD screen.*this system allows you to talk through doorbell as if it was a normal phone call!!(With other systems you have to press button while you speak like a walkie-talkie and you don’t hear the other person while you’re talking vise versa)100% recommend!!

This is an excellent product !!!! Works better than described. I am very, very, happy. I did have a question about the doorbell, I communicated with Sam at customer service, the response was very quick, and answered my question perfectly . This is a wonderful company to deal with.

Well, waited two months before posting a review to try the device. The camera is easy to install and comes with all you need to have it up and running. The app definitely is not the easiest to set up and use. The main issue I encountered is to connect to the camera via the display. It takes several attempts but no success most of the time. So don’t count on getting real-time video from the camera! Same for connecting via the app, hardly can even run playback. As an IT guy, I’m not so off from the tech world, so the connectivity feature needs great improvement. The quality of the picture is acceptable. The battery dropped %10 in two days with the first wave of cold weather, waiting to see how works in the coming days. Not sure if I keep it before the return window is closed.Update Dec-2023: Being contacted by Sam from customer service. They jumped immediately on the issue to help me with troubleshooting. I’ve received the instruction to reset the camera however the issue persists. After sending a couple of videos, they concluded that there is an issue with the communication module and offered me a replacement set. Very impressed with their support and dedication to resolving the issue. Issues can happen on any device but, great customer service is what makes a product reliable and different. this is what I experienced with AceBell team.Thank you Sam and Jacob for your support!

I give it 5 stars because it met my expectations, it’s best I could find in the class and it works well as a doorbell. I can easily see that people might give it less stars in reviews. So I was looking with doorbell with a display so I can see who’s ringing and I can turn on if I need to see what’s going on at my door. Another thing I was looking for is that doorbell should work without Internet. Movement sensor was a plus and also plus was possibility to connect to Internet and to doorbell wires (I have 8V transformer). So I spent extra money to buy Wi-Fi version, checked that wifi is working, upgraded firmware via internet, then turned WiFi off : )So positives – it has enough settings, microphone, speaker and notification sound easy to set at required volume and can be set quite loud. It also works well as intercom, voice is not perfect but good enough for communicating. Doorbell to monitor connection is local, it doesn’t require Wifi or Internet. Electrical connection to doorbell seems to work, although camera says “battery” as power mode it’s 100% charged for over 2 weeks already so it looks like battery is charging from doorbell wires. You can move display and put it in different places in your home, display battery lasts few hours, but with power connection it always works. I didn’t any troubles to install it, doorbell was paired with monitor and it came with all required screws, sd card and 3M glue pad. Another plus that system works during power outage, although I don’t expect display to be on standby long without power. When I initially tested camera it used 10% of battery in a week, but it had lots of action.Negatives (at least to me) – Looks like you can’t turn on monitor to show camera feed constantly, it turns off after few minutes. If you want to turn on camera manually, it’s 2 clicks and not happen instantly, takes a couple of seconds to see camera feed. PIR sensor is a simple one – it reacts on any picture change, i.e. sunlight, tree shadows in windy day etc. Good thing that you can pick not too intrusive alarm sound if you want to have to be notified of movement. Or you can turn off PIR sensor in the settings. At night I didn’t have any false positives yet. Maybe another negative is that manual doesn’t explain camera and display settings in details, but you can figure it out trying different settings, it’s mostly self explanatory.I didn’t use remote unlock but I have no reason to doubt that it works. I didn’t connect doorbell to the internet, I like that I can, but so far I don’t see why to talk to people at my door when I’m not at home. Delivery guys either drop packages at the porch or need a person to put a signature. I also have it for a little over a month so I hope that it will last long and work in winter. I’ll edit this review if I run into issues.So if you need a doorbell with monitor not depending on wifi – this is perfect thing for that, so far I’m happy with my purchase.
