I’ve had a bunch of doorbell video cams starting with the first Ring products. Ring went to pot when Amazon bought the company and forced users into subscriptions. This doorbell camera is not only attractive, it was super easy to install, it takes great video, and no annoying “false alarms.” I’ve spent hours configuring other products. This one does everything through the phone app. Super easy. And no subscription required!!!

I have been looking for a doorbell camera for a long time because my eyesight dose not allow me to see threw a door peephole. But sine I rent an apartment I didnât want to spend a lot of money in case if I ever have to move and my be required to leave the unit behind for the next resident.Other factor on buying this one was its small size. Not many of the cam doorbells were small enough to fit on the door frame here and was not allowed to mount on the brick of the building.

installation doesn’t quite work on Wyze wired video doorbell
The screws included in the kit intended to attach the wall plate for a Wyze wired viedo doorbell do not work. The kit includes two machine screws, however the Wyze wall plate and the angle mount it attaches to both have holes in them with no place for the machine screws to screw into. Luckily I had two nuts that were the same size as the screws so I could make it work. Also, the instructions have you pull the angle mount off the wall plate. However, when I did this (carefully), one of the pins that hold the bottom pivot broke off! It still works if I am careful with my adjustments. Otherwise, this is useful in adjusting the doorbell.
