The TV led backlight turn on automatically after the TV is off?
– When the TV is off, there are still some residual current in some TV models. Once the TV backlight catches these current, it will turn on automatically.
– In this status, please connect the TV backlight to other USB powers instead of your TV USB port for the TV backlight work well.
How to set up 6500K white color?
-IMPORTANT: the 6500K white color can be set up via “Smart Life” app only. You can’t choose 6500K white via provided RF remote.
-Please make sure that the TV led backlight can be controlled via “Smart Life” app while you want the 6500K white.

Becuase of signal interfernece, the TV backlight can’t work well. To avoid signal interference, please pair the RF remote with TV backlight as bellow:
-1, Unplug all TV lights you have.
-2, Plug the TV light, and long press “ENCODE” button as soon as the light strip plugged in.
-3,TV light flash once or twice, then paired.
Can the TV led backlight be cut to fit the TV size?
– Yes. If the led light strip is too long for you, Hamlite TV backlight can be cut along the right side of cutting line to make the installation perfect.
The TV bias light is not bright enough?
– Please make sure your USB power is 5V1A or higher for the TV backlight working properly.
– You can adjust the brightness level via app “Smart Life” or provided RF remote. Just set up the best brightness easily.

This was perfect for my needs. I bought this to attach to the back of my 65″ tv to provide back lighting. It works perfect and is powered by the USB port on my TV. Looks pretty nice, but haven’t played with it much yet
I ordered the largest option for my TCL 75R655 and it fit perfect, just cut off about 6-8 inches. I secured the dongle with alien tape on the back of the TV in cable connection cubby. I started with the bottom edge first and that worked out nicely. I went about 2 inches in from the edge of the TV, since it line up with the screw holes on each side and on the top, the back curves toward the front of the screen. Easy lines to follow for the strip. On my TV the strip turns on with the TV, but does NOT turn off when the TV is off so I just use the App via wifi to turn it off when I’m done watching a movie. The App is nice and easy to set up and my room lights are controlled with another. You can definitely tell a difference in the contrast and colors ‘seem’ brighter with the blacks really bold. I’m glad I finally made this purchase. It is mentioned but in case you missed it you, need the App and wifi to turn on the 6500k white option.

I watched a couple of videos on how to install the lighting so that I would do it right the first time. I did a couple of things wrong, like not checking to make sure the TV worked or installing the lighting before mounting it to the wall. I found that even with the TV mounted to the wall, installation of the lighting was very easy. I followed LG’s advice and wore gloves when mounting the TV to the wall and I cleaned off the back of the TV with the provided alcohol pad before mounting the lights. The light string fit perfectly on my 77 inch TV and finished just shy of making a complete loop, so that the end touched the beginning of where it started. I was able to download the app and connect it to Alexa so that I could use voice control to run my lights. Although, since I am using it strictly for my TV backlighting, I do not think I will be messing around with it. The feature I most like about it is that it runs off a USA A port on my TV, so I do not need a power cord. The lights come on when I turn on the TV and go off when I turn off the TV. My wife even commented about how she liked the backlighting. All and all a great product.

I’ve had other TV backlight sets but chose this one this time since I wouldn’t have to cut the strips and use connectors. I wish I’d just bought the same ones I got before. These are slightly easier to install because they bend at the corners with no cutting, but they don’t even stay adhered one one side while you try to press down the next. It was a struggle to keep them from pulling off at the corners without an extra pair of hands.To top it off, they’re nowhere near as bright as competitors. If you select a color, it’s extremely dim unless you’re in pitch black darkness, even with the lights turned all the way up. It gets brighter on the white setting, which is what I mostly use, but I know some people like ambient color lighting and I don’t recommend these for that at all.Lastly, they turn on and change colors all the time at random. I have to go out of my way to unplug them when I’m not using the TV, otherwise they’ll be on and green by morning. The brand acknowledges this problem, but their “fix” for it does absolutely nothing.The app also isn’t as good as the Govee app, which is the brand I bought last time. Save yourself the annoyance and just buy those, or spend more to get a better setup.

Perfect fit for a 77 inch TV, Remote is a bit Glitchy
Edit (01/09/2023):Removing two stars for the reason that the LED’s have started behaving erratically. The strip was programmed to turn on the WHITE LED’s only at medium intensity which worked fine until y’day.First the LED’s turned off in the middle of watching the TV. After enabling them again, the White LED turned off and now only the RGB ones work. Can;t make them stay on a specific color. The Led’s only seem to respond to the mic. Tried a hard reset in the TV, replugged these into the USB port and tried other basic trouble shooting steps but can’t get the WHite to come on and any other color on the RGB LED’s. Will report if the seller will assistOriginal Review:The LED strip length worked perfect for a 77″ TV. Did a dry run by laying the strip on the TV to align the corners first and then starting from the left bottom, stuck it to the back, wrapping it around. The Strip ended almost where it started so its nice and even. This was on a TV that is already wall mounted. Used isopropyl alcohol to clean the surface and the strip seemed to be holding fine. Will see how it holds over time.The best part is that the MAX LED brightness is just right as the backlight on TV which can be reduced further if needed. Having separate white LED’s is great and no need for hooking it to a wall outlet. The TV’s USB port is sufficient. The remote receiver is behind the TV, out of sight, which is great too.The only glitch I have had is that the remote seems to be working intermittently. Otherwise all LED functions are working great including sound control.Definitely recommend these and will be my choice when I decide to purchase the strips for my other TV

Light configuration is not as accurate.Yellow light is impossible to get even vis the remote.Challenging to connect it to Alexa or the companion app to control it via the phone.The light is very weak and is bearly visible

These lights are awesome. I was looking for ones that had white light included, USB powered and compatible with Alexa. Comes with a remote too which is a bonus. Easy to set up.

I bough this because can use app to control but no any booklet or any paper tell me what app to download and how to connect via wifi.So now I just use remote control to adjust the color. Feel so -.-â

Easy set up. Did the job. Purchased in April unfortunately they’ve broken already (July) poor quality it seems. I would have contacted the seller to try to resolve this but going through their “support” section is impossible and just links you to the contents of the box. The actual support doesn’t work.Disappointing as they had much potential.
