    Switches worked great, 3-way config challenge
    Switch worked great had a challenge with the 3-way installation, there is an alternate configuration that there is a QR code to get to, once I got that I was done in 15 minutes but the hour i spent checking and double checking was a bit frustrating…. Take away , read ALL the instructions first before starting an install

    Turn My Porch Lights to Dusk to Dawn
    I wanted to have dusk-to-dawn porch lights. First I tried the kinds with light sensors. They didn’t work too well because the sensor part did not get the right amount of light for it to work correctly. Then, I found these UltraPro smart switches. They do not require a “mother ship” unit. Each switch operates independently. You can also use the UltraPro app to create “scenes” and “groups”. I found out that I had to create a “location” first, then add devices to this location. To set up dusk-to-dawn, I had to create a “group” and add dusk-to-dawn schedule to this group and add my switches to this group. It gets a bit complex than other smart devices I have, but I can get it done.After I had a factory reset of my wifi-router, for some reason, I needed to reconnect the network. Maybe I did not enter the SSID in the exact same way; I don’t know. This is when I had trouble with. I had to call their phone support (which is a great PLUS). While the switches weren’t connecting to the router, the app on the phone could still see and control the switches through BlueTooth. (This is in contrary to what I was told.) To get dusk-to-dawn to work, the switches still need to talk to my “account” via internet, which makes the wifi connection a requirement. There’s no information on their manual on how to do that. The instruction on the app is misleading, since there’s no “reset button” on these switches.Here is the procedure: 1. delete the device from the app (and account), 2. lift the switch upward for 5 seconds until it blinks and enters the pairing mode, 3. add the device back to the app.The re-pairing isn’t hard; only if the instruction is included and with the details. For example, some of my other IoTs do not requiring you to delete the device from the app. After all, you are trying to re-pair the wifi ID and password. If you find yourself in the need of replacing a router, you will need this ability too. The “reset” function is enabled by lifting the switch upwards for 5 seconds. This replaces the “reset button” mentioned in the app. Since the app is more generic, such information should’ve be included in the instruction/manual.Overall, I am well pleased with the switch performance and the customer support is SUPERB. Not getting a 5-star from me simply due to the missing information that forced me to call the phone support.

    Installation on a 3 way switch was more complicated than expected. These switches are not labeled in a traditional way. Each box does have a short piece of neutral wire. I couldn’t find that information in the listing. They are working well, app set-up was super easy.

    It absolutely works I love it
    I have smart equipment throughout my whole house smart bulbs smart plugs the only thing I didn’t have was smart switch until now. Basically I use this for my ceiling fans. Now I tell Alexa family room fan on kitchen fan on hallway fan on and it works great. Very easy to hook up basically have your white and black like on a normal switch and your ground the only extra wire you need to hook up is a neutral wire which is white and it comes with in the box. So most all switches in back of the light switch you’re working on has a cluster of white wires gone to a wire nut you just need to tap off that and hook it to your smart switch along with the black, white and the green ground wire and you’re good to go.

    Great product, these are hardwired
    I like this product and have two installed for my exterior lights. What I like is that they are hardwired to the actual screws and do not have a loose wires that need wire nutted. These wire exactly like any existing switches and are well built. These quickly added to my WiFi and Alexa runs both smoothly. I recommend this product. The Ultra pro app works great too. But I prefer to let Alexa run it all. Make sure you can identify your line and load wire. You will need to jump the common and the rest is cake. Any wire tester in 3 seconds will tell you which is your Line (Power) and you load (black) and jumper (red). I really like this product!

    Buyer beware! Did not work for us.
    The installation for the switch was simple enough, but the app was a nightmare and it would not work. We bought a tow pack and tried the second one thinking we got a faulty switch, same issue. The application does not work. We went to Lowe’s bought the store brand and it was up and running in less than half an hour, including the application download.

    Easy installation but issues when two are side by side.
    Work fairly well but when two are in the same box there is some signal loss issues. Also one does not indicate on by turning blue like the others. All the settings are the same.
