QuickFit – Improved components reduced the housing depth by up to 20% compared to previous Z-Wave models and eliminated the need for heat tabs. QuickFit enhancements are the ideal smart solution for older-style switch boxes, multi-gang configurations or any other application with limited space.
SimpleWire – Patented auto-detecting line/load terminals support fast installation by identifying line and load wires and configuring the switch accordingly. Dual ground ports, which are offset to avoid switch box mounting screws, support daisy-chaining in multi-switch setups.
Voice control – Enjoy the convenience of voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa when connected through a compatible Z-Wave hub.
Optional toggle guide light – The white, toggle-style switches illuminate to show switch location and status. Color-changing indicator allows customizing the switches by not limiting the LED to one color. The indicator can also be formatted in four ways, including a guide light in the dark, on when the switch is on, always on or always off.

Same lights as Enbrighten and GE for a lower price
These zwave switches work great and are easily included in an existing network. They work as expected and the light indicator is a nice feature with several options for use. These are made by Jasco and are exactly the same as the Enbrighten brand as well as the GE branded lights, so get whichever are the least expensive. The only issue I’ve had with the Jasco switches is I’ve had a few fail after three or four years and it’s a pain to replace them. Fortunately my home automation setup (OpenHAB) makes it easier to re-include them with the original configuration, just the physical replacement is annoying and having to buy new switches costs money. The ones failing are earlier models so hopefully these newer ones will be more durable.

Functions well with Hubitat
I ordered these switches to automate a pair of circuits in my home. One of them currently has a dimmer switch controlled by SmartThings, the other nothing but a dumb switch.I like to adopt switches initially in the same room as my hub as I’ve found greatly improved adoption reliability. With these, I initially attempted to adopt them in the room where they’d be used and had no success.I later realized that lack of sucess was likely due to my mistake versus any fault of the product. When you apply power for the first time, you’ll get some color changing blinks before it settles to an off state and the toggle glowing blue. At this point it’s ready to be adopted. You’ll want to run an exclusion step on your hub first, that improves adoption reliabilty but I cannot remember why.If you put your hup in adoption mode and do nothing else, adoption will fail.Immediately after starting the adoption procedure, toggle the switch to “on” and then to “off”. The blue light will turn off and then back on. At that point, since the switch is unpaired, the on-off action triggers adoption mode.Assuming your hub, or a repeater, is within range, adoption is quick.Your hub may not select the best driver for the switch but those drivers are easy to come by and equally easy to install. It’s all but certain that I’ll be buying more of these in the future.

Won’t work without another piece of hardware
It needs a “hub” or else it won’t work. I returned it, I just wanted a switch, not a whole new system with more hardware.

It works!
It works and integrates with Ring’s Alarm Base. It’s easy to connect by adding a new ‘security device’ from the hub, but did take a couple of retries due to an odd Z-Wave security failure. Once connected though, state is controllable via Alexa. Only reason I didn’t give it 5-stars is that it doesn’t scream high-quality. If you just want a low-cost switch to make some lights smart and integrates well with Ring and Alexa, a great option. If you are looking to do it with a premium feel, there are premium options with premium costs.

It works.
What I liked about this product was that it was easy to install. At first i would shut off the light and the switch would beam blue light through out the room. If i turned off the lights whats the point of a beam in my room? Well found out you can change it to any color you want or cut it off all together. That was a plus. What I don’t like about it. It is not the same as the button it tries to imitate. My other ones flick up and stays up flick down and stays down. This one seems like its a button that stays in the middle. You flick it down it will turn off the lights and return to the middle. Many times I walk into the room and I have to flick it 2 or 3 times to get it right. That is very annoying. That is not going to remove any stars because they never claimed it to be like the original light switches on my wall. I use a hubitat to control it. It works flawless every time.It does what they promised. I’m not sure I want flimsy feeling switches through out my whole house. I’m not getting another like it. I will continue my search for a nice switch to replay call switches in my house with. This one will end up in a closet somewhere. It does do what it claims so 5 stars for this one.

Stay away from these devices
I’ve been a zWave Smartthings users for over 5 years. I have 30 plus devices in my current home and never had an issue. I purchased a new home and started to install Smartthings/zWave. I purchased these switches and they are impossible to pair. The instructions are horrible, and other sites have several complaining about the pairing process. I would return them, but they are installed and I did not save any of the packages. I’m trying to find my GE toggle model which is what I always used and never had a problem. The GE models appear to be Enbrighten brand now.

MAKE SURE TO READ INSTRUCTIONS
Overall, the switch works well. We already had a Zwave hub, and these switches tied in seamlessly. However, if you want to use these switches as a 3 way switch with a REGULAR (not a smart add on) switch switch be sure to read ALL of the instructions regarding wiring. Not only do you have to wire the regular switch in different manner compared to a normal 3 way switch, you also have to perform a special sequence on the smart switch to make it function with a standard 3 way switch instead of the default, which is the smart odd on switch. this detail is buried in the instructions and I only luckily happened to stumble across it.
