1, Scan the QR code on the manual to download the “BRmesh” APP from Google Play or IOS APP Store.

2, Open ” BRmesh” APP， and click the ”+ ” in the upper right corner of the APP to add lights ( light don’t need pair with your phone’s Bluetooth).

3, Follow the ”Add guideline” to add lights.

    Directly work with Alexa
    I have 3 Echo Show 15s, and this is the first time that I’ve had a device that works directly with Alexa. No need to go through a 3rd Party app, but there is one if you need it. You can control the bulbs individually, or in groups. It looks like they use Bluetooth, which has a range of either 30m or 100m, depending upon implementation. From what I can see, these bulbs use the 30m implementation, so you would need to have an Alexa device within 30m in order to use the bulb.You can also use the BRmesh app, which I do recommend. However, if you want to use Alexa in any form, you MUST add the bulb to Alexa first, then to BRmesh. This makes Alexa the primary, and BRmesh the secondary. If BRmesh is the primary, you will not be able to use Alexa. Also note, Alexa can get lost. If the bulb stops responding, wait 2 minutes, then try again. This is a significant issue with Alexa, that for now, we just need to live with.The BRmesh app works very well, and can access features of the bulb that Alexa can’t. All of the special lighting modes, the Music modes, and Rhythm modes, are only accessible from the BRmesh app. The audio modes just switch between colors, they don’t adjust the intensity of the bulb. It’s an OK affect. If you are looking for static lighting, that is what these bulbs are designed for. If you are looking for dynamic lighting, I suggest that you for something else. BEST

    Do not use with a dimmer switch
    Set up was easy. I do not have Alexa, I have Google Home. These are not compatible with Google Home. However, the app is available for android in the play store. The lights sync up and respond nicely with the app. I had to replace the existing dimmer switch to a regular single pole switch. The circuitry in the dimmer switch was causing interference and the lights would operate but pulse continuously. Replacing the dimmer solved this issue. The app allows full control of the lights, simultaneously changing colors, fading colors. There are also preprogrammed modes. The key take away is that these will not function properly with a dimmer switch or smart switch. I think they work great. You get 6 lights in the pack. Which is a really good value for the money compared to other options.

    So easy!
    These were the easiest things ever! My Alexa bulbs from various manufacturers are all so freaking fickle and complicated. They have moods. These do not. These are easy as 1/2/3. Download an app, have bulbs placed, in the off position, and press a button to add. They automatically pop up USING ONLY BLUETOOTH! NO Alexa, HomeKit, or Google Home device required. Although they are compatible with Alexa devices according to the instructions, But like I said, they are moody so I chose these to avoid involvement of any of those smart hub devices. You don’t even need wifi for these! Alexa seems to complicated for my mom, who is not very tech savvy, but I think she could use these for sure with ease, which will make her feel accomplished in that area so it’s a win all around! (I didn’t photograph the bulbs bc they are just as they are in the listing, but I screenshot the app interface to show the simplicity.)

    Absolutely love these.Probably my favorite smart bulb so far. Good and bright, and seems like a great value for 8 for $49. Smart bulbs get so expensive. And it’s brighter than whatever wattage I had in my basement of normal non-LED lights.I particularly like that it was EASY to install. Put them in, turn on Alexa, tell it to “find devices”. Turn the light on, and Alexa finds it in minutes. No app needed. No extra skill to install, not needing to hook it to wireless – LOVE IT. Wish all my smart bulbs were so easy.

    These Bulbs can Dance to the Music, Change Color, Flash and Fade
    These smart light bulbs are a lot of fun and can amp up the vibe of your place or settle it down, depending on your desires. You can put colors into different modes of fading or flashing, and you can make the lights dance to music. I put my porch light on a red/green Christmas mode which goes back and forth between those colors. I am going to admit that at first, I downloaded the wrong app, so get the Chinese app, BRmesh, instead of the Smart Light app. The best thing to do is just use a QR app to download the QR picture which takes you directly to the correct app. The best directions on how to use the app are right here on the webpage we are on right now. Hit that + sign up in the right-hand corner when you first get on the app’s home page. I was so relieved when I saw the light bulbs flash as they connected to the app. If you see that, you’ve got the connection, now all you have to do is play with the colors and the modes, and that is the fun part. Would I recommend these bulbs? Heck, YES!

    App is a little confusing, not for dimmers
    The bulbs do exactly what they say they do with creating a wide range of colors or patterns of colors. The app helps you program the bulbs colors and patterns and can schedule when they turn on and off, but it isn’t as intuitive as other similar apps I’ve used. Once you’ve got the bulb in the light, you have to keep the switch on or you cannot use the app to control it, so it gets annoying if you have a lot of kids or people using the switches and you can’t use app.I also found that they do not work well in lamps that have dimmers unless you’re after a janky strobe effect. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use them in my floor lamps, but they can have other fun applications.

    Great bulbs at a great value that work great. Tons of options in the app.
    I was skeptical about these bulbs at first because they don’t cost much more than standard white bulbs, but they do so much more. I was wrong; they do it all! The white light is as bright as any other standard white light bulb, and you can adjust the white light from 2700k to 6000k. Even the color light is a lot brighter than other bulbs. The app was easy to download and has tons of options and settings. I didn’t try the Alexa or any of that, but just downloaded the app to control the bulb. There are lots of settings and pre programed modes in the app. It even allows music and sound. You can even set it up on a timer. These are by far the best bulbs for the value I have ever used.
