Simply does what it should, makes my life easier
Because of the layout of my living room my recliner is in the middle of the room, not close to any plugs or lamps. There is a spotlight over the fireplace that I was able to aim at my chair, so I could have light to read or work. Only problem, the dimmer switch is on the wall I need to get up, go around the back of my chair, turn the light on, and come back. Not exactly a cardio workout, but inconvenient at the least.Enter this little beauty. It just simply does what I need it to do, at a good price, and with a minimum of set-up muss and fuss. The instructions were simple and clear. Only hiccup was that my wiring at the wall plate (housing a dimmer, a light switch, and a three-way light switch) was a bit non-standard, so I needed to do a bit of research, figure-crossing, and a quick prayer. The problem was totally in the wiring, and not the dimmer. Once I had that figured out I hooked up the wiring, reassembled the panel, and was ready to switch power back on. I installed the app on my phone, signed in, and switched power back on. The switch automatically went into pairing mode, and the app acquired it. I forgot to disable the 5Ghz WiFi as the instructions said, but the switch was able to find the concurrently running 2.4 Ghz signal and locked on to that. Enter the password and the app had control. I then loaded the skill to Alexa, had her located the new device, and I was ready to go.I especially appreciate that Alexa and the switch were able to communicate without an extra hub in the middle, like some other devices need. Now I can sit in my chair, call for the lights at the level I need, and turn them off to settle in for a movie, all without the bother of going over to the switch. Additionally, I get the security bonus of setting a timer to turn the light on and off when I am gone, so it looks like someone is home. And the subtle led light on the face of the switch makes it easy to locate in the dark for that midnight kitchen run without having to have a conversation with Alexa and waking my wife. As an older guy who saw the original run of Star Trek in the 60s, I love having all these things at my voice command. This switch is solid gold.

Currently installed the same number of dimmers and switches
Incredibly convenient, Installed over 25 smart single switches and smart dimmers, all of this brand, same company and seller, in combination of 1, 2 and 3 switches in one single box. Exceeded my expectations. Not only looks great, especially at night with the small LED light in each unit, so you will never miss a switch in a dark room, but neither one switch lost connection. It is very easy to operate these switches and dimmers both with hands and voice, I’m mostly Android person. What I got is fantastic experience – go to bed or leave the house – one voice command and all switches are rearranged as you wish, I leave a few lights for the evening/night for dogs while I’m not home, so the dogs are comfortable and can better protect my house with some light, but all others go down. I can also control all lights remotely and see the status of each one, which is very handy. When I get back home, then one command, while sitting in the car, and I get the required groups of lights on right away – super convenient! I do have a video surveillance system and it works pretty well at night. But the street lights have already burned out several months ago, so, if I need more light, while sitting in my room or even far away and monitoring my area on my 4k monitor, I simply give 1 command and can turn on all lights on my front yard, backyard or around the entire house. I’m not even talking about the schedule, when I can turn the required lights on or off according to the time of the day. A few months ago I could not even dream about it. Great addition to the house! In order to finish this project I will need to install three 3-way switches in the groups of 1, 2 and 3 switches per box. Waiting for this experience as well, already received 1 more switch to test it out and will order 2 more to finish this project. Btw, in most cases the dimmers are preferable since they give way more flexibility with light. I also do have Philips Hue system, but it is more expensive, use its own lights and switches and you will be bound to it once started. The switches above work with any type of bulbs, I was surprised when I verified that with my own experience.

Well worth the money!
Before I tell you my thoughts on this product, let me give you some background on what I am currently using in my house. I have a Hue hub and a Lutron hub, five hue bulbs, four lutron dimmers and fan controls, two Treatlife dimmer switches, and three off brand smart bulbs. I also have everything tied into my Alexa.I am running the off brand bulbs and Treatlife switches on the smart life app. The lutron and hue equipment run through their respective hubs. As far as basic function is concerned, all of my switches work mostly the same. Alexa can control all of them consistently. There are three things that set the Treatlife switches apart from the lutron switches. The manual function of the switch, the aesthetics of the switch, and the ability to function without a hub.First, the treatlife switches have a much more user friendly manual function. They have a touch sensitive brightness adjustment and a simple push on the bottom of the switch turns it on and off manually. The lutron switches have four separate buttons and very little lighting. They can be challenging to operate at night or if you aren’t directly looking at them.Secondly, they just look cleaner than the lutron switches. The treatlife switches are smooth and very minimalist. The LEDs on them are bright enough to be helpful but not so bright that they are annoying. And finally, you don’t need a hub to run them. I have quite a few components running in my home and was looking for switches that don’t require the addition of more. These fool the bill perfectly. They connect to the app very easily and have worked since they were connected.I am very happy with these switches and would recommend them to anybody looking to automate their home.

I’ve been hitting above average when it comes to lesser known brand on Amazon. And these Treatlife switches are definitely a hit.For the record, I’ve been playing with these since the day of x10/Insteon. I’ve had Gosung, Treatlife, Kasa and the Costco brand.BUILT QUALITY :Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the unit, it’s definitely up there with the big boys. It’s been up for about a month or so; I’ve turn power on and off multiple times = ZERO ISSUE, unit just reconnect to the router and off we go.INSTALLATION: *Please* make sure to watch some YT vids if you’re not familiar with basic electricity concepts (hot, ground, neutral, load, 3-way, 4-way, single-pole, switch loop, etc.). — SAFETY 1ST –That being said, you will need a neutral to connect. The negative aspect of almost all these switches (except the TP link Kasa), is that they all come with wired connectors and NO screw-connectors; plus the additional BULK makes for a tight fit. Getting them in a tiny standard electrical box can be fun, and by “fun” I mean torture; because you’ll have to stuff a few extra wire-nuts in there (Use smaller marrets to save space).CONNECTIVITY:For those having difficulties with pairing, please follow these steps, before initiating the connection process;- FORGET all the 5G networks on your device- FORGET all the 2.4g you will NOT be using to connect the switchThese will facilitate the process during initial installation. As far as the App goes, I don’t really care about the app, as long as I can link it back to my Google Assistant. The app is pretty standard and can be used to connect a variety of Smart Devices from similar brands.FEATURES: Overall, solid product for the price. I cannot comment in details about the features aside from “it does what it said it would do”.You can buy this one with confidence.

This is an excellent product and the price is right. The switch was easy to install and the cell app recognized the device immediately (no manual pairing). I like the looks, the touch sensitive dimming, the soft click feedback when turning on/off, and the lights on the switch, especially the bottom square light that makes the switch easy to find in the dark. The cell app is easy to use, and the switch works perfectly with Alexa.

Me agrado bastante el producto, el único detalle que le veo es la necesidad de contrariar a alguien que lo instale

I bought this for my home office that I’ve been automating with Google Assistant. I’m very happy with it. Wiring it was straightforward, since my existing dimmer switch was already wired with neutral, load and line. I had to work around one small issue related to my home wifi to set it up. I use Google Wifi and the repeater in my office is in Bridge mode. The switch doesn’t appear to be able to get an IP address through DHCP on a Bridge mode repeater, so I had to unplug it to for it to connect to the main wifi device in NAT mode. After that it was an automated configuration, and I easily added it to my Google Assistant. It works perfectly, and I think the range of dim-to-bright that this switch allows with my LED light bulb than what I could achieve with my old ordinary dimmer switch. 5/5 would buy again.
