    Great product!
I found Tapo from a review on one of their cameras. As that reviewer said, Wyze used to be the go-to for products like this, but Tapo is far better. I took a chance on buying this switch, hoping that it would fit in a 2-gang box next to a large dimmer switch. And it does! Setup is very easy, and I love the feature that allows you to set on/off times by sunrise/sunset in addition to just picking a time. This works perfectly for our front porch lights. After struggling with an old-school programmable timer that lost its programming every time there was a power failure (frequent), this smart switch solved all my problems! Quality appears to be great and it works perfectly. Tapo will be my #1 source for “smart” products going forward!

    These smart switches are awesome
These smart switches work great. They dim all the way. Easy connect to the app. I wish they come in black color as well.

Easy to use and pair, fast response time from the app and the physical button, great value
These are easy to pair and install switches. The Tapo app replaces the Kasa app for many of the TP Link products and I like it even better. Pairing these is very straightforward and the app remembers the destination Wi-Fi network so you don’t have to enter it in each switch you add. Tapping the light switch turns on the light instantly, nicer than the Wemo line which always seemed to have a slight delay. Programmed these quickly and set up my lighting schedules, and they are working great!

    Love the switch
easy to install and connect with alexa or your tapo app. very happy with that although quality issues are questionable. had hooked up in garage so wires running up wall are exposed. knocked out the neutral moving things and wont work after being plugged back it. great look good fit questionable quality

    It Works!
Got tired of having to go out to the garage to turn off the lights at night. Installation and set up was straight forward but had to do some reading to get it linked to Alexa.

Orange LED when Internet is not available or blocked
I have been using the Kasa switches for awhile now and really like them. I set them up through the app and connect them to home Assistant, then promptly block their internet access. These new Tapo switches will keep the LED orange if you block their Internet access. The only way to get this to go away is disabling the LED entirely, which is one of the reasons I wanted these in the first place. This product is in my opinion significantly worse than the original and I would not recommend them.

    Very convenient
Instillation was a breeze. Linking to your TP-Link account was also easy. Directions are provided. Being able to turn this light on and off remotely is pretty awesome. I would defiantly buy another.

    OMG, these are just awesome
Got tired of replacing the zwave switches. I wanted to see how these wifi switches would perform. I only used 3 of the 4pk that I ordered. Super easy to wire, since it’s set as single pole. The app is similar looking to the smarthings app. My phone is an Android btw. Intergrating with Alexa was a breeze. After I completed the wiring of the switches I added it to the app one at a time. No problem noted. The app found the switches and my network. I can manually turn on/off the switches and/or have Alexa do it. Automation is very nice easy setup. I truly believe, the reason why this went so well, was due to my router. I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk AX5400, it’s a WIFI 6 router and is a beast. My rig is simple, not complcated. Very glad to have made this purchase.
