    A Great Little Security Camera at an Affordable Price
    Without trying, you can spend an awful lot of money on home security cameras.Or you can buy this little model and get much of the same quality for an incredibly lower price.The first thing that impressed me was the convenient packaging. As you can see from the photo, there are not a lot of components and they’re all neatly packaged.The instructions were very brief and completely understandable. It comes with an app that walks you through pairing with your phone. It probably took me five minutes to set it up and pair it.Picture and sound quality are very good.There are a couple of things to be aware of. It’s battery operated and charges with USB. It comes with a USB cable but you’ll have to use your own charger (no big deal). However, you need to place the unit where it is easy to reach for charging.Also, I think the notification that someone was at the door took about fifteen seconds. If you plan on communicating live, you need to consider this. For most people it would not be an issue.Overall, I was very pleased with the quality, ease of use, and price.

    Easy and Ready For Use!
    Had this camera installed a few weeks ago and I’m impressed, haven’t really had any issues with it since installing. I live by a busy street with businesses and alleyways around and wanted something easy to install to see what is happening around my apartment when I’m not home. Easy to install by my door and had no issues since the packaging including mounting screws and adhesive tape to set it up. The camera body is easily adjustable and we’ve been changing the angle every few days to see which angle we like to view the best. I like being able to be at work and receive notifications to my phone when something is by my door so I can see when my roommates get back or when packages are being delivered. Even the two way talk feature is very clear and loud, I usually use this for packages to let the UPS person know where to place the package and haven’t had an issue! This outdoor security camera has been great to my place, looking to purchase another one for a different window or alley way. Great, affordable tech product for the quality and features involved.

    Don’t Buy It
    I should have listened to the other reviews. The app that runs the camera is complete garbage. I thought maybe they just had cheap phones or weak wifi connections, but no. It IS the app that barely works. You need to have 2.4ghz wifi for the camera to even connect– it’s a hassle to switch down to 2.4 if you have 5.0 like most modern Americans do. In addition, the motion detection might as well not even exist. It simply doesn’t pick up movement. I have mine set up in front of my car and I can drive away and back and the camera will never pick up the motion. THE WORST PART: I wasn’t worried about everyone saying the motion detection didn’t work because I was relying on the 24 hour playback feature. That is simply a lie. There is no 24 hour play back. This product is an out-right scam and if all purchasers join together, we can petition AMAZON to remove anything this company sells.

    I have purchased a lot of these cameras throughout the years. Some work great and last but most of them will last a few months and then not charge and it will say offline on the app and there is nothing you can do. It usually happens once the window has closed for you to be able to return it. Take your chances with these cameras. I have one that I just got in October and now it won’t work or charge. Of course I can’t return it because the return window has closed.

    Works ok but not great.
    Positives are: Easy set up and quality pics. Negatives: live view timeout frequently and need to refresh by user. Motion sensor has only 4 settings, low, medium, high, and max, which user have to figure out the range for each setting. Supporting Toucan app is clunky and needs to be improved. Upgrade to a paid subscription is needed to get more useful functionality out of this system.

    Didn’t realize how much I needed this!
    I’m not a tech or security camera kind of person, but I moved into an apartment with 2 other girls and wanted to know what was going on in our new neighborhood along with seeing when our packages or postmates deliveries were at the door while we’re upstairs . It was really easy to install and use from our phone which I like, we also have it connected to our Alexa Echo Show and can see on the screen what is happening when we ask Alexa to. The camera body is adjustable on the mount since it’s magnetic which we like since it’s easy to move the camera body to different angles if we want to see different areas and catch any blind spots. Since there are 3 of us in the apartment, it’s nice that we all have the app installed and we can all view it from our phone without having a limit number of users that are able to see the footage. Notifications to our phone when there is someone or animals out in front are quick and convenient especially with our food deliveries. We were looking for different wireless security cameras because we didn’t want to deal with hardwiring or long installation processes and this is the best bang for our buck in regard to price and the features we were looking for in a security camera. Definitely recommend!
