Great product!
It was easy to install, came with clear instructions and connected to my Smarlt Life app and Alexa seamlesly. To my suprise it came with 2 switches. It fit nicely into a 3 gang box I had. Throught the smart life app, I have it set to go on and off a certain times of the day. This is the second TOPGREENER switch I have purchased and both have worked great. The other is a wifi dimmer switch and it has worked flawlessly for 2 years now.**EDIT**Make sure you replace your other 3 way switch with a single pole switch. The instructions show this but don’t clearly call it out.

Easy to flash with ESPHOME for Home Assistant!
I’m a fan of these. They are switches only, not dimmers, and do require a neutral, but they work great. The clamp-to-connect back feed is far more secure than other back feed mechanisms, they have a decent Wifi range, and most importantly they (as of April 2024) work great with TuyacConvert to flash esphome and integrate with Home Assistant, all OTA, no tools needed.

ð« NOT Compatible with LED Night Light Switches
Pros: Very capable Smart Switch with very good price to performance. Integrated easily with Google Home after installing the Smart Life app. Only requires sigle-pole at 2nd switch.Cons: NOT Compatible with LED nightlight switches. The switch throws out traditional three-way wiring at the second switch location. This switch only requires a traveler and a neutral at the second box, which is great for new installation; but, not so easy for existing wiring. And, the instructions/schematics do not address existing “traditional” wiring. The Solzulamp 3way or single pole LED night light switches are incompatible with this switch. The LED circuit interferes with the Topgreener circuitry. What I did: (I’m NOT an electrician) (3-way switch NOT required) At the second box connect the Traveler “red” to hot side of switch, and Neutral “white” to Neutral side of the “non-LED nightlight” switch. Tie the Load “black” & Hot “black or (white w/ black mark)” together with wirenut.*Note* My best friend “the electrician” figured this out.Final Thoughts: Great Switch that has poor documentation for existing “traditional” wiring. I’m sure this has created some bad reviews of this product and probably many returns. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. New switches have New Wiring.

Great when they work but…
Update: I have had these switches now for over 2 years. I have dropped from 2 stars to 1. Still no improvement on the wireless recognition and Alexa support. Constant losing wireless connection and constantly losing the Alexa capabilities. I am also reducing to a single star because now this switch turns the lights on and off without us doing anything. Either someone has hacked the system or there’s a major glitch. Due to concerns over fire hazards I’ll be pulling these switches out and going with a different brand.I have a 3-way switch setup. There wasnt much straight forward wiring info but that’s to be expected because a 3 way setup wiring could very in a house. I have had this product for some time now. Didn’t take too long to get online and working. The reason for the low review is the switches have terrible wireless receivers. This product has intermittent issues of losing the network. I’m running a high end gigabit router that is probably 15 feet from the switches. The first few times alexa couldn’t find them I was able to reboot and get them running, however within the last week they lost network and alexa can only find one of them now. Basically they have turned into a very expensive light switch. Both partners need to get together and sort this out. But our echo can no longer find them and the switches say we have bad internet which is completely inaccurate. Until the bugs are worked out, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Details on 3 way wiring here. Very happy with the light switches!
I like the overall quality and feel of the switches; the UL rating is important, otherwise you might just be installing some poor quality fire hazard. I used these in a two gang box, and they definitely take up more space than the standard light switches they replaced. Combined with the excessive amount of wiring in the box, I definitely needed to replace it with a 3 gang box and installed a decorator style blank fill plate to take up the unused spot in the wall plate cover. As far as wiring in a 3 way configuration – yes it works great. No need to make the second switch for that wiring circuit a smart switch, but you will definitely need to slightly re-wire that second switch. Follow the wiring diagram closely that is shown in the pamphlet/manual. Itâs interesting that the smart switch really just uses the second switch as a signaling device. In fact, you could replace the second switch with a simple 2 way switch! Once you see the wiring diagram in the manual, youâll understand what I mean.Iâve also used this for a simply 2 way switch circuit, and obviously you just leave the traveler input alone. The terminals are clearly labeled on the back – load, common, traveler, hot, and there is a green ground screw on the body as well. You’ll have to install a new short common wire inside to the box to accommodate this switch. After installing, I used the topgreener app on my phone to set them up and give it my wifi password. Afterwards, I added the topgreener skill to alexa via the alexa app, and it all works very well!Ill be absolutely sure to update this review if problems come up – if you don’t see a change from the 5 stars, than I’m still using this without any issues.
