    Works for LED recessed lights
    Used this to replace a Lutron Skylark dual dimmer switch which is not rated for LED lights. The Skylark worked OK, but flickered a lot and did not provide a full range of dimming. This TOPGREENER dimmer controls 2 banks of dimmable LED recessed ceiling lights with smooth full dimming range. Solid click for the off position. No issues and good quality dimmer.

    Works fine for a short time then junk. Twice purchased, both failed.
    This design was exactly what I was looking for since I added a new lightup bathroom mirror. I wanted one switch for the regular lights and one for the mirror. It was working great for about a year. The regular switch was used daily multiple times a day. After about 1 year, one side failed. I figured I would purchase another as maybe I just wore out the contacts. The second one lasted for about 9 months and then I heard a pop from the wall area. Something inside the switch fried itself.

    Purchased for my dining room where I have ceiling lights and I also have a lamp over the dining room table and I wanted to be able to dim them separately. I have one light switch on the wall that controls both sets of lights but didn’t dim them. My thought was that I could separate the 2 switches and add them to this dual switch to control them individually and not have to add an additional box to the wall. In addition, I could dim them. This design allows for that. I had everything changed in about 15 minutes. Super easy to do but if you are uncomfortable with electricity, please get an electrician.Unfortunately this didn’t work for me because the electrician who did the wiring in my room piggy backed off of the “hot” wire in the ceiling and didn’t run the dining room table light to the original switch. So instead of controlling them individually, this switch only allowed me to dim both set of lights together but not separately. If the wiring was done correctly, this box would’ve worked perfect for me.I give this a 5 because it works as it is supposed to. Very easy to install. Not too deep so should fit in most electrical boxes. Does NOT come with a cover plate so make sure you keep your old one.

    The unit operates 2 separate lights in a seldom used bathroom. There’s not enough room in the junction box for separate switch’s.
