Y’all, these switches got me feeling like a professional. They were easy to install, even with my aged electrical wires ( 1940s home). I choose these switch because no ground wire was necessary. If you know anything about older home, a ground wire may not be an optional. The installation was straightforward since I have experience. You can’t tell me nothing, now. I am like a kid, playing with lights. LOL

I needed a switch that would work w/ the older wiring in my house, only 2 wires. This can be connected either 2 or 3 wires. It looks great and dims my lights perfectly .

While I generally install Z-wave switches in my house, they’re significantly more expensive than normal Decora switches. My daughters didn’t need any automation in their bathrooms, so I elected to use the TOPGREENER Kalide Dimmer Light Switches (black) with their vanity lighting. Paired with Bestten screwless trim plates, the Kalide setup looks great.Installation of the Kalides is pretty much the same as any other light switch. The girls’ bedrooms are in the oldest part of the house, without neutral wires in the j-boxes, so it’s nice that no neutral or resistor pack is required (as many/most Z-wave switches require). Setup is a different matter, as you have to make some adjustments under the faceplate. Essentially you have two settings, light type and minimum brightness, that set the usable diming range for the light. Being able so set the minimum keeps you from having part of the dimmer range cause visible flicker on LED bulbs towards the bottom of the power range (having bulbs with decent capacitors helps). In operation, the switch is interesting as it uses a mechanical slide for dimmer control. In my opinion, this is nicer than the press-and-hold setting for automated switches, and is a more natural retrofit for old knob or slide dimmers. Build quality seems no different from any other switch I’ve bought in the past couple decades.It’s hard to beat the value of a $13 per unit dimmer switch – especially since it works well. If you don’t need automation (zigbee, z-wave, wifi, etc.), this is a great choice. Conditionally Recommended

Perfect Dimmer!
Had purchased a set of these rocker dimmers for other parts of my house, but in white and loved them and this company so much that I picked these black ones up to match the other black rocker/white decorator panel setups that I have in my bedroom! Install was as any other light switch and really appreciate the easiness of the hole slots to put the wires securely into then tightening with the screws instead of having to wrap the wires around the screws! Also dig the fact of being able to easily setup or change settings via just popping off the front cover/rocker; so if changing from LED back to Incandescent, vice versa, or even having the little LED indicator light on or off, I can do it really quickly! The dimmer slider on the side works perfectly and always remember to have it set all the way down as far as it can go prior to flipping the lights back on as to get the full range of the dimmer.No complaints here with this!
