    Easy to install but limited auto-off time setting.
    The switch is well made and easy to install. The auto-off time setting is limited. Lowest setting is 15 seconds. Next shortest setting is 10 minutes. As long as there is movement, the light will stay on. The sensor does not sense movement through a glass shower wall. If you will be in the room a short time, the 15 seconds setting is fine. If you will be there a long time, better to just turn the switch to ON.

    I bought four of these for my shop, as I tried to install one I realized I did not need a switch with a neutral wire. Return these to get the correct ones.

    Just what I was looking for!
    I just installed 2 of these motion switches, 1 in my garage and the other in my laundry room. Both work flawlessly. So far the sensitivity range exceeded that of a Lutron switch I had in the garage previously. I was frustrated with the Lutron because it lacked a way to manually turn on the light without it automatically shutting off because it couldn’t detect motion where I was working in the garage. This switch solves that problem! Hope it lasts a long time!Update: I purchased two more of these switches and tho they work flawlessly, I discovered that because of the shear size of the switch-housing, it can be an issue for the switch to fit correctly in a double gang box. If you have a conduit connector on the same side of the box as your the motion switch, the switch housing is too large for it to fit correctly. I had to move it to the opposite side and put the smaller light switch on the conduit side to make both switches fit in the electrical box. They need to make the switch electronics housing smaller for sure!Update May 2ndDiscovered a flaw in this switch: it turns on with small electrical spikes on the same circuit. I have two ceiling fans, both operated by a three speed wall switch, both on the same circuit as the motion switch in my laundry room. Changing the speed on any of these two switches turns on the laundry room light. Very annoying!!

    These motion sensor light switches are excellent. I wish I had bought them sooner!
    Initially, I purchased these to replace a switch at the top of my basement stairs that I thought was a single pole turns out it was not, and these could not be used. It became a happy accident as I quickly found places to install these switches. They are excellent in bedrooms, I have a little one running around leaving the lights on, but this switch resolved that issue. They are great in laundry rooms when your hands are full. They are great at the top or bottom of the steps if your hands are full. I can’t imagine not having these switches installed. My only regret with this purchase is that I wish I had bought them sooner, as they are so handy to have installed. On a side note, I figured I would mention that the wall plates are included. I remember having to look for that information when I was purchasing them for the first time.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this product. I would definitely recommend it.

    The product does exactly as I was expecting – turns the lights on when I walk into the room and goes off by itself. The installation was pretty straight forward, requiring basic understanding of wiring light switches. The only difficulty was gauging how long the lights stayed on after no motion being detected – the adjustment dial does not provide any indication of timing, so it was just by trial and error, but I eventually got it to the length of time I wanted by using small adjustments.The only big hesitation prior to buying was reading some of the negative reviews saying that the switches died after using them for a few months. So at of now, these are new and I have no way of telling if these will last or not. So for now, my rating is provisional and subject to revision if I experience problems after using them for a while.Installation date: October 16, 2020Edit – March 17, 2021 – switches are still functioning fine, 17 months laterEdit – September 10, 2023 – still working fine 35 months laterIf a problem occurs, I will come back and edit this review,. If there are no edits, then things are still going well.

    I just replaced my timer light switch. This installed quickly and worked perfectly. Light goes on and stays on as long as it detects movement, when you leave the room it takes about 10-15 seconds and the light turns off.I did have a confusing moment – i walked into the room just as the light switched off, it detected movement but did not turn on – i waited 10 seconds and went back in – turned on right away. Not a defect, just a limitation of timer i suspect.
