Connection Method

· Download app from the App Store(IOS) or Google Play Store(Android)

· Turn on the phone’s WiFi function and ensure the network is on, make sure the smartphone is successfully connected to your WiFi (only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported), you can also turn on the bluetooth in your phone (this will speed up the connection process).

· Connect led strip lights , turn it on and then turn off , repeat the operation three times until the led lights go into flashing mode.

· Entering the app will automatically pop up a connection window, click “Add”, click the “+” sign, enter the WiFi account and password, and click “OK”. Wait for the connection, click “Finish” when the connection is complete.

· Now you can control the led strip lights via the app.

· Please clean the surface of the attachment before installation, and make sure the surface is clean, flat and dry.

· This product is not waterproof, it is recommended to use it in a dry environment.

· Please pull out the transparent insulation sheet inside the remote control before using the remote control.

· Please note that the arrow position of the controller should be aligned with the strip light marking “+ 12V”, otherwise the light will not light up.

· Please ensure that each end of the controller is only connected to a roll of light strips.

    Good lights
    This product is very beautiful the lights shine very bright and they have nice colors, the only thing that probably can be improved is the adhesive . needs to have a stronger bond because on day 2 they started to fall down and I have to use clear tape to hold them in the wall. But overall it’s a really great product we love it k have a reel in no the of my kids rooms and they love it thank you.

    Lights won’t turn on
    I’ve followed the directions perfectly! My remote was broken when I got it so it wasn’t able to turn on through the remote but I was able to get it connected to WiFi and add the device to my phone but still no lights will turn on while the device says it’s on through my phone

    Purchased over a year ago and still look great!
    I bought these for my teen girls bedroom. They love these lights and leave them on most of the time. I was able to install them in less than an hour and placed them around the perimeter of the room at the ceiling. Very easy install. The colors are vibrant and bright. They are easy to use with the remotes. I had to buy two strips and was able to link them together so they operate as one unit. Very good value for the money.

    Amazing product, difficult to connect to the app.
    Ive had my LED Lights up for a day now, and they have been excellent. Taking advice from not only other reviewers, and my person experiences i use clear tape to keep up the LED’s but the adhesive is particularly stronger than many other brands. The colors are vibrant, and personally very nice. It doesn’t come inside of a box like described but a amazon package, and a white tray. There is no connector piece for the second roll of 50ft lights; which is a major issue.One of the only parts that i dislike is how difficult it is to connect to the app. Ive tried the blinking on-off-on-off method a billion times, and it simply does not work; which truly disappoints me. The app suggest manually connecting it but it gives options like Wi-Fi, BLE, or Zigbee; personally, none of these options were given originally when buying the product, which confused me incredibly. If you plan to buy this product i recommend saving your money and just buying the remote control only. You cant connect Alexa without having the device on your app so it’s a huge bummer when it comes to digitally controlling the LED lights. Although, the brightness is pretty good, the value given, and what i expect out of the product especially considering the price its pretty disappointing.

    Things You Might Be Wondering About…
    I just bought these and I will let you guys know somethings that are not really explained well on the product details, descriptions and reviews. They do not come with any extra connectors, if you accidently mess the strip up ( my wife accidently clipped the blue circuit while sticking the lights to a sharp corner with her finger nail…) you will need to repair that strip with some of the 10mm connectors you can find for 3-6$ on here, we ordered a pack right after lol. The product I have is the 100ft kit (2 rolls of 50) and if you are wondering, I would not advise running both strips off of only 1 plug on the controller box. The lights her dimmer the farther they go with just 1 50ft strip, so I’d say it wont last the other 50 ft. With that being said you will need to use both plugs, one for each strip, then run both strips from the controller going opposite ways. Be sure to measure everything with a tape measurer and don’t forget the extra length needed to go up the wall from the power outlet. They stick really well, but not so good when trying to get it back onto the backing paper if you peel it off too far. The remote that comes with it has a delay, is annoying and sometimes does it own thing…at least for me. When I downloaded the Tuya Smart App I was prepared to do all the ‘plugging and unplugging the light strip at the socket 3 or 4 times’ to get it to sync, but if you just hold the On (power) button located on the remote it came with for 5-10 seconds the lights will go red then start flashing, at that point the light strip showed up on the Tuya Smart App and I was rocking and rolling. I preformed a corner folding technique to get my lights around the corners without using L connecters, look it up on google ‘Folding LED light Strips’ make sure you do it at the ‘cut here’ places, they are the 4 horizontal copper lines. It worked out well, could have been better, but apparently I’m only one that will ever notice it…but that’s all that counts right hah. I haven’t connected it to Alexa yet because I’m hesitant about logging into Amazon through it (call me paranoid). I will update pictures in a bit, because I have a 6 year old and if I don’t at least write this right now I will never be able to answer these questions for other buyers =PMerry Christmas!
