    Long Light String
    This is a true 100 feet of RGB lights. They had no problem wrapping a child’s room in the house and then some. They are just a thin light strip with an adhesive backing. There is nothing covering the front of the lights to diffuse or blend the colors together. Since this is for a child’s room, I am not using the app or the smart home functionality, but the capability is there for more advanced features.The lights are bright and put on a spectacle of a show! Each spaced a few inches apart, they dance, blink and rotate all around the room in a myriad of colors. With the remote, they can be set to one of 8 solid colors, or dance and change colors. There is also a music feature on the remote, but I didn’t find it as responsive as I was hoping. The remote does need to be pointed at the sensor located at the AC adapter to work effectively without smashing the button over and over. it is noted these are not waterproof and are suitable for indoor use only.These are longer and brighter than other similar sets and so that sets them apart and makes them worth it for me.

    Good but not Great
    The positive: These LED lights are bright, come with a good adhesive on the back, have some great patterns built in, and with 100 ft, they can cover a good amount of space.The negative: Once laid out, I noticed that the different sectors on the strip had inconsistent colors when choosing a solid color. As an example, when on solid white there were parts that were slightly yellowish and other parts that had a faint blue hue. If you need color consistency, these are not the LEDs for you. The remote control also has a very limited amount of options so you will need to use the app if you want to have more control. Even then there are certain options that don’t allow you to change colors. When using the audio feature to have the lights move to sound/music, there is no option to change what color is used.I used these to create a thundercloud effect to hang on the ceiling. They worked well for this project, but be aware of some of the shortfalls if you have more specific needs.

    Super Fun Lights for Indoor Use
    At $50, these are an okay buy, but for the $28 Black Friday Promo they are a solid deal. The kids wanted to use these on the Christmas tree this year and they look pretty dang cool… too bad they didn’t come in a green strip vs white. I like that these pair with Alexa & Google and are Smartphone App Configurable.Overall 4.8/5 (for $28) or 4.1/5 (for $50)

    LED string lights that glow and dance
    I’m impressed by these string lights for their length, brightness, and programmability. The lights arrived with 100 feet of string LED lights wrapped conveniently on a spool. See photo. The LEDs are separated by 5.5 cm. The LEDs are on one side of the string, while on the length of the other side is a sticky back that is exposed by simply pulling away. I first tested the lights by a couple of seconds of exposure to the AC power. That test was successful, so I unfurled the lights around the peripherals of my apartment––there really are 100 feet!The inaugural test lit up the apartment in fantastical displays of changing colors (RGB) and ever-changing, programmable patterns: ‘marching ants’ and so much more. I had fun playing with the different light effects. The user has a wide selection of options, including programming their own light show.This 100-foot LED light string delivers ease of deployment, performance, and value. It is an excellent option for those interested in LED light strings.

    Light strips have a strong smell I believe coming from the adhesive backing, so keep that in mind wherever you install them. There is no rubber coating over the surface of the strips so they should be protected carefully from any short circuiting or weather (the box does say non-weatherproof). Controller is fairly small, compatible with Google and an app.

    Works good, nice color changing options
    It works nice, I mean it’s strip lighting. The lights can go bright or dim. The app is a standard, very low quality app, so don’t expect tons of options.
