From the brand
Smart Dimmer Brand
Since 2017, we started to work on smart switches, from single pole to 3-way, dimmer to fan control. We are trying provide reliable and affordable IOT devices to our users.
How did we get our start?
Users know us from our 1st smart dimmer (MJ-SD01), which has a wide compatibility for different lamps.
From the first dimmer, we upgraded our design according to feedbacks from users, such as nigh light, auto dimmer, calibration, 3-way. Then, we win more and more users.
What makes our products unique?
We listen to our users. They want night light, we provide this feature. They like to link HA via MQTT, we provide tasmota pre-flashed devices.
Why do we love what we do?
We believe the IOT devices can really make our life easier and energy friendly.

Preloaded Tasmota makes it so much easier.
Like any other switch to install (except the neutral requirement), but the preloaded Tasmota makes this very easy to integrate into any MQTT-based IOT setup. I really appreciate that Martin Jerry is supporting the Home Assistant crowd, unlike some others who try to block open standards and lock users into vendor apps. Good product and good price.

Tasmota!
Super easy to set up and use for diy projects, thanks to tasmota.I took off a star because some of the soldering wasn’t great and I’ll have to resolder one of them. When stripping the line wire, they cut a third of the strands, so the connection to the circuit board isn’t what it should be. Also one of them didn’t have any of the leads on the board trimmed. I like to look inside devices like this before installing and this is why.

Great switch with Tasmota Pre-flashed
If you are here buying a Tasmota smart switch then you most likely already know what you want and are doing. These can be easily flashed with ESPHome as well. I personally prefer Tasmota over ESPHome, but I still run some ESPHome Devices. Ive been using another brand (Athom) but they have been harder to get, These Martin Jerry switches came with version 13.0.0 pre-flashed and worked great out of the box. These are a momentary switch, but I dont have any issue with that. Anything extra I Want from it, I can get from MQTT.If you are not running home assistant or another smarthome hub, this is not the switch for you. It is not cloud based, it does not have an app. If you hate cloud services and run something locally hosted, this switch will work great for you!

They work, but relay can stick after power disruption.
Out of the box they’re easy to install and adopt, however I have now lost two after power flickers at the house. The relay can stick, and will not unstick even with percussion while toggling the relay. The 3-way switches have been fine, and I’m considering switching to those and keeping the red line capped, or trying g a different single pole switch all together.

Good unit
This Tasmota pre-flashed unit works out of the box with no internet connectivity requirements. You will need a wifi network with DHCP, but that’s it. I disassembled the unit and the build quality was good, it appears to be on-par with other name-brand in-wall modules I’ve bought at the local home center. The main switch is a proper microswitch, not a cheap PCB pushbutton, so it should last. The tactile feel is different from a regular switch, though, so be advised. The Tasmota firmware supports a timer mode so this is a no-brainer replacement upgrade for in-wall timers. I recommend and am glad this company is making them.

Would not purchase again
Getting this thing setup was a royal pain in the a$$. Downloading the Android app never work and I am new to Tasmota and I eventually figured out that Tasmota has a web interface and going to that interface to enter your WiFi information was far easier than dicking around with their non-functional android app. The other problem I have with this switch is that it’s a MOMENTARY switch. It does not rock between positions like other switches and the MOMENTARY push only works on one side of the switch so the feel is a bit disappointing. This switch has two LEDs behind the switch button that are impossible to see in a brightly lit room and really not sure what there purpose is other than for setup with the Android app which never worked for me (could never get the fast blinking light described). On a positive note, once setup, it appears to work well – tasmota being the software behind it, I was able to get it talking to my MQTT broker (mosquitto) and home assistant and integrate with various automations I have planned. In conclusion, I am going to keep the switch but wouldn’t buy it again. I would recommend tasmota based switches that have more luxury look and feel with tactile or fixed rocker positions.

Easy to integrate!
This is a nice little switch. I am using Home Assistant and ESPHome for my devices, so I needed to convert this to ESPHome fist. That was an easy process:1. Power it up and join it to my network2. Update it to tasmota-lite to give it more free space3. Configure an esphome entry for it and build the firmware4. Upload esphome via the tasmota firmware update screenIt is working perfectly for me. The switch also controls a couple of smart plugs and the response between clicking the switch and the plugs turning on is practically instant.

Affordable smart home
Pros:Very affordable to make your home into a smart homeEasy installComes with everything you needPairs with Google or AlexaCons:Hard to pair sometimesThat’s it!I have several martin jerry switches and they all perform flawless. I use the smart home app instead of several different apps to control them all.
