    Perfect price for a zigbee controlled under cab
    I was skeptical at first but after I got these installed I was impressed of the functionality and light output. These are 100% smart home controlled so you need a compatible zigbee controller to get these to work, no local control. I used a Aqara zigbee mini switch with Home Assistant to get these to work.

    Works with my ZigBee stick to control brightness and color temp
    The good: bright, dimmable, color temp from daylight to amber. When it works, it works.The bad: no ZigBee documentation, one in five had a bad ZigBee chip, and the 12″ can be reeeeal tight to wire in. The 18″ are fairly easy to fit three wires in. The little plastic inserts that hide the connector ports fall out easily. The hex nut that holds the strain relief connector is annoying to install and tighten, and if it isn’t rotated properly it prevents the case from sliding back over the top.Note to anyone using your own ZigBee stick: To initially connect, just add power. To reset, start from the on position. Now turn off the light switch, turn it back on. Count to three. Repeat 8 times. After the final time, wait up to ten seconds and it should blink a few times and then pair.Overall I recommend it (I bought five of them), but it would have been nice if it came with ZigBee documentation, and if I didn’t have to return one because it wouldn’t pair to my ZigBee setup.

    This light is supposed to be corded according to the description but it’s not, it needs to be hard wired and doesn’t come with a cord. Thankfully I saved the old light I’m replacing and I’ll use the cord from that.

    Great light, very happy with most Lightify products but this seems to be one of the more unique offerings.Pairs easily, as long as there is no need to turn it on manually and you have automation or Alexa always in range to do so it was a great solution to a longstanding kitchen lighting problem for me.

    Huge pain to install but worth it and needs an on and off button
    I replaced the old fluorescent lights under my kitchen cabinets with these. It took a while to find traditional hardwired LED smart under cabinet lighting that were not LED strips or a plug in. These came up and fit the bill of what I was looking for. The price was also a steal. My major issue with these lights was the installation. The way you wire these in was poorly thought out. The connectors that you have to attach to your live and neutral wire don’t fit standard gauge wire. I had to trim the wire so they fit the connectors yet they still managed to keep slipping out. There is barely room in the wiring compartment to work. Once I taped the hell out of everything did the wires stay in place. Once the lights were wired and mounted, they are great lights. They connected directly to the Samsung Smartthings hub without any issue. They provide fantastic lighting. They have adjustable temperature and brightness which is a huge bonus. If the installation was not so infuriating, I would have given this product 5 stars.UPDATE: My other huge gripe about this product is that there is no button on the device to turn the lights on and off. You are reliant on Google/Alexa or something like the Smartthings Button. This can be annoying when you just want to press a button on the light. It is even more annoying when your internet goes out and Google/Alexa does not work, the Smartthings Button does not work and you don’t have access to Smartthings via phone. When this happens, these lights will leave you in the dark.

    Sylvania has no doubt outdone themselves with their new line of ‘smart connected’ LED lighting!! The new 18″ Sylvania Lightify LED Under Cabinet Light is perfect in my kitchen to provide additional lighting when preparing dishes and clean-up or just providing light for night time to act as a night light for those late night snack sessions. Whatever your preference may be, Sylvania has given us several options of controlling the lighting from warm white (2700k) to daylight (6500k) using your smartphone or tablet! Hence the ‘smart connected’ in the name. You just download the free Lightify App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play to give you the freedom of turning it off and on from wherever you may be, setting your lighting preference, etc. In addition, this under cabinet lighting is linkable to other fixtures giving you the option to control all your lighting needs in your home!! For beautiful lighting at your fingertips, don’t miss out on Sylvania’s new Lightify 18″ LED Under Cabinet Light (Smart Connected)!!

    Terrible design, cannot fit wires inside.
    I had high hopes for this. I have been looking for a home automation under cabinet task light for a long time. I’ve had good luck with lighify bulbs and garden spots so figured this would be just as good.If I could give zero stars, I would.This thing is so poorly designed it should be removed from the market.It comes with pins you are supposed to crimp on your wires so you can insert those pins into the connectors. The pins have to metal to crimp. No idea how they ever expected this to work.Since I was using solid wire, I was able to get that in there, but then, you cannot get everything back in. All of the connectors are in the same spot. There is plenty of room to get them in if you could space them out, but the internal wires are not long enough to allow this. You cannot get the wire connectors back in the light. And while you are trying, you are standing on your head under a cabinet.Just an awful awful awful design. The worst I’ve ever seen.Never even got to the point of applying power, I couldn’t get it installed.Avoid this at all cost.
