MAJOR connection issues!
*UPDATED REVIEW*Purchased the Swann 1080p SWIFI-CORECAM SWIFI-SOLAR3 Solar Panel Bundle. I deleted my initial negative review after I deleted my Swann account and started all over from scratch to see if this would fix the disconnection issues I was having.For a few days the camera was great with no disconnections. Now as of writing this, it has disconnected once again with a Wi-Fi signal that says ZERO and it will not reconnect. I did not want to do this because the camera is great when it stays connected to WiFi, but I have decided this needs to be returned. Below is my review before I decided to give this camera a second chance.Camera has disconnected many times & does not reconnect when tapping “retry” or “reconnect”. Because of this, you’re unable to view live video. I did however discover that it did record and save video from a motion detection of me outside when it said the camera was disconnected. Right now, I’m unable to view a live feed but I am able to view the saved motion events which is very frustrating.The device status says OFF when the camera won’t reconnect and you’re unable to power the camera on & off on the app. You can only turn the camera on & off with the physical switch on the camera. There’s a reboot option on the app but you can’t reboot it because the camera is disconnected from Wi-Fi. The issue is NOT with my WiFi because all my other WiFi devices NEVER have connection issues when this Swann camera does.All of this is completely unacceptable. Because of these connection issues, this cannot be considered a reliable and trustworthy security camera. My old wireless Arlo security cameras are more reliable, still work great and rarely if ever have any issues. Because of these issues I am returning.

Works Well and Solar is Great
I am suitably happy with the performance of the camera. The picture quality is great including the clarity of the night vision, the mount is stable and easy to install. Motion detection has had some flaws to it periodically but I am not entirely sure that isn’t the fault of the app and not the camera so I won’t knock the camera too much for it. Some of these apps just don’t work consistently, at least I am assuming it is the apps fault. Either way other than mionor glitches in motion detected video capture the whole unit works well, and I love the solar panel.

Some bugs to work out
WiFi is hit or miss, however there is an internal storage option. The solar panel works great and keeps the device charged. I am not sure if you would want this for 24-7 security. I mostly use this when i am traveling. I set the device up in our hotel room and have the camera pointing down at our vehicles.

It detects motion quickly. however:- the angle is too narrow. so not good for looking larger driveways- IR range is worse ive seen. suitable for person standing in front of door- Night mode is terrible there is no No IT option.- bracket is awkward design- app is not as good as others
