    I love that these work with the Tuya app
    I ordered the “Sunco 3 Pack Smart Dimmer Switch, Double Rocker Wall Light Switch, WiFi Compatible with Tuya, Smart Life, Sunco Lighting Smart App, 120V, Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant” to review and to use with some “Sunco 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights with Night Light” that I recently received. I really love that these work with the Tuya app. I’ve started using more devices compatible with Tuya and these do not disappoint. I love that these actually work very well with LED lights without producing any flicker. I love that the buttons on the switch are clearly marked and that they have a great tactile feel when pressing them. I like that they dim on and off but I wish the dim off was quicker or that they only dim on and not dim off. I do like the dim level indicator displayed on the switch when power is on. Of course, the instructions are not great but that’s almost expected these days and the switches were super easy to install, however, getting the wall plate off of the mounting plate is quite tricky. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Exceeded Expectations – Highly recommend product.Explaining my rating system:5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Exceeded Expectations – Highly recommend product.4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Average to Above Average – At least what you would expect based on the Product Page.     Exceptional price and well made (but instructions are junk)
    At $10.66 each ($31.99/3 after 20% discount) these smart switches are an exceptional value. They are well made, and they work as advertised for single pole installation. I would rate these as 5 stars for their cost and functionality. However, unless you have prior knowledge of installing single pole switches (or watch You-Tube), the instructions included are less than satisfactory (useless) which is why I cannot rate these higher since the engineers did not do their job.Additionally, there is no mention is made in either the description, or in the instructions, if this is a single pole switch or a three-way switch. While STEP-3 IMPLIES it might be used in a 3-way (multiple dimmers controlling the light) there are no “traveler” wires and therefore, without concise instructions, I would consider these SINGLE POLE ONLY.Basically, discard the instructions. For a single pole (one switch controlling the lights or outlet) installation, just wire this normally: BLACK wire to live/line wire (power in), RED to load wire (power to light), WHITE to neutral, GREEN to ground and it will work perfectly.The diagrams are poor and misleading for someone not familiar with wiring even a single pole switch. For instance, STEP 1, the first diagram shows connecting the live/line wire to black (OK), the Neutral to white, (OK) and the green to ground but, shows the LOAD wire alone. If wired this way, it will not work and, with the exposed end of the LOAD wire it would be dangerous.STEP-2 shows the same (however the very small diagram is correct). Then, STEP-3 is confusing because it says to connect the RED (load wire) wire to the live/line wire. A call to customer support to find out if the additional instructions were wrong or if they were for alternate wiring (such as 3-way) had no support since this is a new product and they had no information if these conflicting instructions were for other configurations or, if it could be wired as a three way. So, this was referred to the engineers and I was told they would get back to me.Overall, this was an easy install, the switch connected easily to my SmartLife APP and then to ALEXA and works as it should.

    Simple and effective dimmer switches
    These dimmer switches seem to work well and function properly with the recessed LED lights I tested them with. Before installation, I tested the dimmer switches with a single LED light and found that each dimmer switch uses 0 watts in the OFF state and 2 watts in the ON state. These dimmer switches dim the LED lights in 8 steps from the lowest setting to the highest setting. The top button can be pressed to turn the lights on or off. The dimming buttons only respond to single presses and dim the lights one step at a time. They do not respond to holding the buttons down so you can’t dim the light by holding the dimming buttons down. Additionally, the dimming buttons do not respond if the light is in the off state. These dimmer switches also feature an LED indicator built into the front of the dimmer switch that provides the user with a visual indicator of the current dimming level. The wires going into the back of each dimmer switch are labeled on the back of the dimmer switch and feature the standard colors for 120V AC circuits (black = line, white = neutral, red = load, green/yellow = ground). These dimmer switches are rated for 120V AC and a max load of 450 watts for incandescent lighting and 150 watts for LED lighting. Overall, these dimmer switches seem to work well as expected. The included instruction manual is clear and straightforward, and the dimmer switches are easy to install. The LED indicator on the switch is a nice feature and the dimmer switches are simple and easy to use.
