Great Product, some issues with wifi
This little smart switch has a lot for it:- Very small to fit in the electrical box behind physical switches- Installation instruction were clear and easy to follow- When it’s working it’s really greatHowever, it doesnât play nice with your router rebooting and is prompt to lose WiFi connection in such case.

I bought these devices to use a “smarthome” system on Amazon that had been in place for some time. For some reason the original system failed or was taken offline..One day it just stopped working. I do not know why although I was told that service restoration might be underway. I was not happy when it went offline. This was not inexpensive…and as of today only part of the system is working.

Keeps disconnecting
Sad – I wanted this to work, but it keeps disconnecting after a few hours. This is a modern Deco mesh router system with dedicated 2.4GHz IoT network. I even tried an address reservation which can help with older tech. No dice. Now I have to open up the box again and replace it with a Tapo switch, which I know will work reliably. The Sonoff device might have been only $10 or so, but the waste of my time was expensive.

Je suis ravi de mon achat ! Ce petit module Sonoff miniR4M est une merveille de technologie. Je l’ai installé derrière mon interrupteur existant en un rien de temps, sans aucun besoin de modifier mon installation électrique. La configuration avec Matter a été d’une simplicité enfantine grâce au QR code. Maintenant, je peux contrôler mes lumières avec Google Home et home assistant , créer des automatisations et même les gérer à distance quand je ne suis pas à la maison. Le must ? Même si ma connexion internet est coupée, je peux toujours allumer et éteindre la lumière avec mon interrupteur classique. Franchement, pour le prix, c’est un module incroyable qui apporte une vraie touche de modernité à mon installation électrique !
