Tiny size and external switch option make these very versatile
Used on our four gasoline dispensers to individually power cycle them when there is a network error.Normally I would have to turn off all four gasoline dispensers by the circuit breaker to do a hard reset. This causes the entire credit merchant system to reboot and wastes about 7 minutes…time I could be selling gasoline! Our gas pumps are about 120′ from the store and we do have a strong WiFi network so the signal gets to these little switches easily & reliably. These units must have great internal WiFi micro strip antennas, because they still receive the WiFi signal inside of the gasoline dispenser housing. The option to add a toggle switch is effective too. Whatever state the relay is in, the added external switch allows control of the circuit without using WiFi or a smart device.Using the Tuya APP you have and option to retain the relay’s state when power fails and is restored – meaning I don’t have to turn all the pumps back on everytime we have a power failure. These switches are tiny, easy to mount, easy to wire and are super easy to implement.Excellent product for IoT do it yourself enthusiast! Two thumbs up.

Exactly what I was looking for
I’ve only been using these for a few weeks but so far I’m very happy about them. I have them installed inside a box behind two wall sconce lights on either side of my bed. The things I like: they are half the size as my last units so they fit in the electrical box easier all around; they have two additional terminals for a manual control, which I also have on each light, so the light can be turned on or off easily and intuitively manually or as a smart switch. The other thing I like is they are compatible with the app I use, SmartLife, so it was easy to integrate them into my smart home environment.

does NOT WORK WITH SIRI. APP has great timer settings. does not need switch too power back on.
Works great with Alexa.. If you have iphone, download Alexa, add the switch, and just say “hey siri open alexa” then say “alexa’ turn on/off lights/switch.. or just use one of the apps with you fingers..I love the app for these. Plenty of timer and setup options. You can set these too remember there last setting, IE: Wire them just power in, power out, switch in wall will shut relay off..Then when you turn switch back on in 1 second they come back on. (think you can adjust in settings what it does when power is supplied.)The screw terminals are small, and tricky, make suree you got a good littler regular screwdriver. These are small, Easy too fit into a electric box. They do have switch inputs, But you dont really need to use them-CAUTION- DO NOT PUT A POWER SORCE INTO THE S1 OR S2 TERMINALS!. THEY WILL BURN UP.So if your not sure about wiring, electric, just put a power and ground/neatrual wire in, and out, thats safest way. Unless you can wire non-power switches into them go ahead.(it can be done if you read and watch videos on these.) Thou’ you dont really need too. They will remeber there last status, and when you put power back too them, they will turn on in about 1-second.The app is great. My favorite so far, beisdes the other sets ive tryed that work with siri, But I actually like these better for complete control threw app. Only takes about 10-15mins if that too hook up, and connect too app.My favorite thing is the timer, and option too have these power on when power is supplied, or stay off. (So if theres a switch powering these they will turn back off even when you shut switch off for a day)I love the fact there small, cheap, and can control from phone, and have timer setting’s. great for any light or outlets you need too hide this in too control something from your phone. Idk about hi-amp, like a Window unit AC, BUT any regular lights, or lower amp stuff works fine with these.

Great Smart Switch with isolated dry contact.
For what I use it for, nothing bad to say about this product. It does the job required and it’s perfect. I am adding a correction to what Tim announced in his evaluation of February 22, 2024: the module does contain a relay whose dry contact is completely isolated from the control (SCH-T76 relay, see picture). It is therefore possible to control an AC powered device, for example, while supplying the module with DC….or vice versa, or both AC or DC but with different voltages.

Weak Signal and a Premature Death
I had an electrical box packed with 2 Treatlife smart switches and got a Colorock switch to replace one of the Treatlife switches, giving more room for wires.Wiring was straightforward with clear instructions. Once installed I was able to compare the signal strength of the Colorock switch with a Treatlife switch. My Unifi internet controller tells me the strength of the wifi connection for each device. Itâs always possible to transit a signal strong enough to reach the device. But wifi is 2-way and the device needs to send a signal back. The Colorock switch transmits back signal that is too weak for my application. It is about 8-10 dBm weaker than my Treatlife switches and this is hugely significant. The Colorock switch worked in a different application for about 3 months then went dead. One died after 3 months
