Awesome light bars
These are very very modestly priced. Very easy to set up. They’re beautiful no end to different kinds of colors and ways of showing them. I recommend these to anyone.

Nice lamps but won’t connect automatically, my case. Read this if yours doesn’t connect to the app.
I’ve wasted about one hour so far trying to connect the device with the app, following all the instructions and even separating my net from bonding to 2.4/5Ghz separately to use exclusively 2.4 for this lamp, I’ve reconnected all my home except this thing. Still not visible by any means…****** Update: here is how I finally got it. ******1- Be sure to be connected to a Wireless 2.4GHz network, same network that your lamps will be connected to.2- Download the Smart Life suggested app in the manual (via Playstore or QR) and open it. Grant all permissions it could ask.3- Press the + Symbol and select Add Device, then go down to “Add manually” (you may skip the bluetooth on suggestion).4- In the devices list at the left, select Lighting. Then look for the first group of devices called “Light Source”, then select the last bulb icon “Light Source (other)”. A message “No gateway available” will show up, select Configure. In Configure menu, select the 2.4GHz network you’re connected to and add its password, then tap “next”.5- Turn on your lamps, press the On button like 5 or 6 secs until it starts blinking in Red, then go to the app and tap the “Confirm the indicator is blinking” button. A slide up message will show again with the text “Select the status of the indicator light or hear the beep”. There you will have two options: “Blink Slowly” or “Blink Quickly”.Let me add a note at this point: When your lamps are blinking, if they’re blinking slow they might being set to be linked via bluetooth (it didn’t work for me in that mode), what I suggest you is to press and hold the On button once again for 5 secs or so until they change from blinking slow to blinking fast.6- Back in the app, select Blink Quickly if your lamps now are blinking like that. Then a countdown T-2 mins menu will show but it will disappear pretty quick and your lamps will be detected as C7102-A device. Select them, wait until the app finishes adding them (registering in the cloud), then they will show in your Home for you to set them as you like.Thank me later 🙂

Really good app and lights
Initially I bought these lights to go behind my tv, but the little clip that came with adhesive was very cheap. So cheap it didnât hold up the weight of the light bars and they ended up falling off. Had to resort to using zip ties . Needs better adhesive

doesn’t seem to remember the settings
It is bright and it works with Smartlife app, but it appears it does not remember the settings it was left in. So when it automatically Tuens on as per schedule, it starts with a random blinking light pattern, not good for office use….meh….I wish it were designed better

Nice lights
These lights, for me, were a great buy. I sat them standing upright behind a 50″ TV. It really changes the TV watching experience. Nice ambient lighting behind the TV. Worked well with Alexa.

Does not connect via bluetooth
I have a modern samsung phone (2023), have set the wifi to 2.4ghz like the instruction stated, turned on gps and bluetooth and tried and tried and tried to get it to connect with the app. I have tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, etc… It just will not link. I have tried to see if i could add it directly to the alexa app but unfortunately it’s not a supported device. Additionally, if you plan to put it flat on your desk, you’ll find it difficult because they only give you two pieces to place it on your desk and there are two bars, meaning you’re missing two and you have to overlap it with the actual LED of the bar itself. It seems like a reasonable LED light bar but unfortunately it is what you would expect from a unbranded product. The bar is pretty bright and if it would have worked correctly i would have given it maybe 3 or 4 stars. It’s likely the app itself that doesn’t work since it has a lot of negative reviews but without the app you can’t really use this light so I’ll be returning it.

Works sometimes manually with their app, doesn’t work with Alexa
I was able to add the light bars to the Smart Life app and control the colors & on/off for the first few days but now it shows offline even though the light bars are on in front of me. I see it change from ON to offline over and over in the app. Occasionally it stays on ON for a minute then back to offline.I added the Alexa Smart Life skill and see the light bar in Alexa. I set up a routine to turn the light bar on and off by voice command and it worked the first time and now it doesn’t work at all with Alexa. I re-linked the Skill, changed the name and re-linked it again and Alexa says it’s offline. Alexa says the light bar ‘Device is unresponsive’ even though the Smart Life app sometimes shows it on. I reset the light bar, unlinked the skill and started over and the same thing happens.I’m passed the return date otherwise I would return these right away due to the lack of functionality in their own app and via Alexa.
