    Easy setup/ connectivity
    Easy to use, just plug it in and download the app. Follow instructions on the app and it will be connected in a few minutes. We connected our Christmas lights to these and added the voice command through our Alexa devices. Now all we have to do is say Alexa, Merry Christmas. Then all the lights come on, no more having to plug and unplug the lights each day!

    Much better than manual timers
    I love that these can be programmed to all turn on and off at the same time! I used to use manual timers for all my windows, and even though they were close, they never turned on/off at the same time. I also love that they don’t make that annoying clicking noise 😅

    Pairs with Google home
    I looked through multiple items specifically wanting outlets that connect to the Google home app. This worked perfectly for what I needed and was extremely easy to set up and connect!

    Capable Smart Plug
    I hopped on the smart home train several years ago and I have had many, many smart plugs. A few, I sent right back to where I got it, while most I’ve had have been at least serviceable. Here are my thoughts on this one:1.) It looks like pretty much any other round smart plug.2.) I didn’t notice any flaws or anything that would indicate a lack of quality.3.) Setup was pretty easy. I did have to download yet another app.4.) I didn’t have to suspend 5GHz on my router to complete the pairing process.5.) The app makes it easy to pair with Alexa.6.) I found no issues with the functionality of this device.Overall, this is a good smart plug and I would consider it about average, maybe slightly above. I’ve had others that paired directly with the Alexa app without requiring the download of another app, but other than that, it works well.

    very handy gadget
    After the smart socket is set-up through the app it’s smooth sailing to tell alexa or google to turn on-off whatever you’ve plugged into it. The setup can be finicky. Thank God for the reset button on the socket itself. After downloading the socket’s app, you have to go through the hassle of entering your info, setting up a password, entering wi-fi password etc. If you’ve set up various google home speakers or alexa over time, you’re familiar with the hassle this can be. But once you’ve done it, if you’re lucky you won’t have to fool with this again. This smart socket is the height of convenience (or laziness) if you’d rather order someone around and tell them to turn your——-on or off, rather than doing it yourself. But in certain circumstances it could be a safety issue to be able to have your bedroom nightstand lamp turned on before you enter the room (especially for the elderly). It’s either that or pay an electrician $200+ to come and install a light switch for the outlet that the lamp is plugged into, and have him install the switch right next to the door, either inside the room or in the hallway. But this socket is waaaaay cheaper than that, and I’m sure you already have your house rigged up with the google home assistants or alexa speakers. Of course if you don’t have that set-up in your house yet, you can control it through the app on your phone. But put your phone down. Because that’s a hazard when you’re walking, even in broad daylight. im jus sayin…
