    Very good smart plug from TESSAN
    This is a smart plug that is a little smaller in size than most others but still not small enough to plug 2 into a single wall outlet. It is however small enough to plug in one of these smart plugs and a regular size plug, such as a lamp or extension cord. This smart plug is very easy to install and simple to setup using Smart Life or one of the other apps it is compatible with. I have been using this smart plug with a lamp in the den for well over a month now and it has worked flawlessly with Alexa. It has never lost it connection and is so simple to control using my voice and Alexa and Siri on my IPhone when I am away from home. It is very reliable and that makes it a great value for the money.

    Good Product
    I bought this for my Christmas tree. It’s ideal because the Christmas tree doesn’t have an on/off switch. However, in my experience, I’ve noticed that it’s not good to have electrical surge flowing automatically to any device that has an on/off switch (while the device is left in an “on” position). Over time, in my experience, the device will stop working because the device is never in “off” position when the voltage hits. I am not an electrician, this is just based on my experience with other products (this includes, simply just plugging and unplugging devices from outlets without turning them off first).

    Not easy
    Tried to connect to WiFi 5 times, no success. This plug-in was right next to the router. I even tried manually connecting, no success. Usually items like this are real easy to connect.

    Great smart plugs
    Easy to use and works great with Alexa. Gives remote control for your devices, sets timers, and there’s no hub needed. It connects with wifi and is pretty compact, so it doesn’t block most outlets.

    Quality Smart Plug, Great Value
    I have used more smart plugs over the years than I can count. I’ve immediately returned some, I’m even thrown some away that lasted just long enough to satisfy the warranty. Others are still in service. This is how this one stacks up so far:1.) The look pretty much like any other round smart plug.2.) It’s slightly smaller than other round smart plugs, but you can only still get one in a standard outlet. It does allow for space to plug in a standard 120V plug, though, where others pretty much render the other outlet useless.3.) Setup couldn’t be easier. Plug it in and follow the prompts. I didn’t even look at the instructions.4.) I used the Smart Life app. I’m not even sure if there’s another 3rd party app that is recommended.5.) Shutting off 5GHz was not required. That is a requirement for some plugs, since they use 2.4GHz only.6.) Right after it paired with the app, I got an Alexa app notification that it is ready to go over there.7.) I found no operational deficiencies. This works great.These are great smart plugs, plus, they’re currently only around $7 each before coupon offers. If you have a need for multiple smart plugs at a great price, I think this deal is going to be tough to beat.

    Easy setup, works, wish was smaller
    You’ll need a 2.4 GHz wifi band to connect to (as the listing describes), luckily I already have a guest network setup for this. I attempted it first on my 5 GHz band just to test it, and it did fail. When connected to my 2.4, it worked first try. I’ve currently got it set up with a lamp plugged in, and it does work as expected. The Smart Life app has timers, scheduling, and more for customization. It also easily connected to Alexa and Google Home, and responds quickly to voice commands.The two gripes I’ve got are:1. The size doesn’t leave much allowance for other items to be plugged in. Sharing an outlet with the most basic of cables will fit, but anything like a charging brick will be blocked, it would also block nearby outlets on a surge protector if not adequately spaced.2. There is an audible click when it turns on/off that seems a bit aggressive.

    Easy set, works with Smart app.
    For the price of this set of four it’s a great deal, especially when compared to the price of many name brand options. These work just as well the name brand counterparts. We use a lot the Enbrighten outlets for our green room that houses all our home based plant sales. These Tessan outlets work just as well and are just as programable, as for use I can’t notice a difference, and they program on the same Smart app as the Enbrighten brands that we already use. Pairing was super easy, and programming the times and output was simple. Very happy with these smart outlets.
