Awesome device
Okay this has to be one of my favorite gadgets I didn’t know existed. It works so well. I use it to power up a couple lamps that had no switch. You can screw or 3m tape the switches frame to the wall. The little remote sits in it acting like a light switch, or you can pop it out and use it as a remote. The manual shows you just open the remote to replace the battery in it when the time comes. It works great with my Alexa as well. I’m debating on getting a few more to use in some other areas of my house. Definitely a must have if you want light switches for lamps or other devices but dont have wiring.

Cheap, works with Alexa
I needed to control an outside light that is not hardwired to a switch, but instead uses an extension cord that plugs into an outside outlet. The problem was, various members of the household were having difficulty with turning the light back off. This device solved my issues! I plugged the outside light into this plug and then into another extension cord that plugs into the exterior outlet. Mounted the switch inside, and once connected to wi-fi, it worked perfect. The bonus is I can now add it to an Alexa routine. The routine says, “If the switch is powered on, start a timer of 5 minutes, then automatically power it off”. Problem SOLVED.

Perfect solution for extra garage light.
I wanted a smart solution for my extra garage ceiling light i could make alexa routines for and wirless switch for manual control. This was perfect.

Smart plug, with assistant compatibility
This review is for the Zoiinet WiFi Smart Plug (2 pack) in white color.I ordered this because I wanted a couple of lamps to be on schedule.Included in the package are two smart plugs, a wall switch and plate and mounting hardware (double-sided tape and screws/anchors).Build quality is good, and similar to any other household plug. The size and shape of the plug is a bit bulky and may interfere with other plugs or adapters if you intend to use outlets on top of each other.Installation and setup was easy and straightforward. You are required to use an app. There are options two app options mentioned in the manual, either the Tuya or Smart Life app. I went with the Smart Life app since I already have it installed on my phone and other devices linked in the app. It is also required to connect to a 2.4 Ghz WiFi; this is good because of the better range on 2.4 Ghz frequency.First I connected my phone to my 2.4 Ghz guest WiFi that I setup specifically for wireless smart devices. Then plugged in one of the smart plugs. Press the pairing button for 2 seconds, until a red light blinks rapidly to indicate pairing mode then let go. Go to the phone app and the smart plug should show up right away (you may have to tap the add device link). Once the smart plug is added, the light turns solid green and from the app I was able to manually turn the plug on/off and setup a schedule. I added the second plug the exact same way. I did not install or use the wall switch but I did a quick check to make sure it worked.In summary, I’m very pleased with these Zoiinet WiFi Smart Plugs. Setup and configuration couldn’t be easier. Everything worked out of the box. Build quality is good. I deducted a star for the value because you’re only getting 2 plugs but you also get a wireless physical switch and wall plate.
