Makes my old home feel “smart”
I bought these smart plugs because I had a couple of lights that I wanted to turn off and on with Alexa. They have done the job perfectly and they have not lost connection at all (not even once!). I’m going to highlight aspects of the smart plugs that I like and don’t like:PROS:- Easy integration with Alexa. You can just use Alexa and not the app if you would prefer because all of the functionality is there.- Fantastic app. With the top point being said, the app is AMAZING. It has a lot of useful functionality. I personally like to run the plugs on a schedule to automatically turn off at night to save power.- Works right out of the box. I set these up in the app (which took two minutes) and they instantly worked with Alexa after downloading the Magic Home skill! The functionality it gives me is a huge plus for me.Cons:- They are a little bulky which can get in the way but that is the only con i’ve noticed.Overall, I think these plugs are exactly what I needed. They work and they work well.

Great for new or expanding smart home, especially with Google Home / Assistant integration
I’ve used various home automation technologies at home over the past several years and these outlet plugs are some of the simplest devices I’ve worked with. I had Z-Wave-compatible plugs for eight years but recently decided to switch to these mainly for the Google Home / Assistant and IFTTT integration. Connecting the plugs to my wifi network took maybe two minutes each, and it took less time than that to connect my MagicHue account to Google Home and IFTTT. Now when I (and other members of my household) go into Google Home, I see the MagicHue outlets alongside other lights and Chromecast devices and can easily control them. Through Google Home I set up time-based routines (“turn on the coffee” before I wake up) while I use IFTTT for turning some lights off/on at sunrise/sunset. Turning them on and off, whether through the MagicHue or Google Home apps, is quick and seamless.The devices themselves are on the smaller end for smart outlet plugs, but you likely won’t be able to plug two of these into the same receptacle, and there may be some laptop or PC plugs that are difficult to fit in with it as well. That’s really the only downside I can think of though. Depending on the other plug you’re trying to fit in the receptacle, it might just be as easy as reversing which one plugs in on top or the bottom.In summary, I’m happy with these plugs because I was able to get set them up to do everything I wanted them to do in under a half hour total following the clear directions provided. If you already have a smart home managed through Google Home, or if you’re just getting started with a smart home, I think these are a great way to go.

Smart plugs for holiday light decorations.
I bought a four pack of smart plugs because I was tired of walking around the upstairs to plug in and unplug the family Christmas lights. Upgrading to these smart plugs was the way to go because aside from some setup WiFi connection issues the smart plugs have been awesome. The integration with Alexa was simple and easy to use when I wanted to turn the Christmas lights on or off instead of using the app timer. Great investment for the cost.

I got these to try out another brand of smart plugs and they are fantastic. Between these and the gosund ones I got before, these were easier to connect to. The magic home app is very easy to use and manage. I got some of the lightbulbs from this brand before and was impressed and hoped these would be the same setup… and am happy to report they are. Took less than 5 minutes per plug. Didn’t have to try more than once for each one.Interestingly they do allow something else to share the same 2-plug outlet cover, but only if this is plugged into the top. I tested multiple plugs and surge protectors and it was the same. It uses a teensy bit more space at the top. Still, one smart plug doesnt block the whole second outlet no matter what you do, so it is a big improvement imo.We have been using them for timers on our fish lights as well as google home-controlled lamps and they do that perfectly. I haven’t tried Alexa but google home recognized them no problem.

This is actually the third set that I bought by different third party. The first set stopped working because I could not get them to reset with 2.4 GHz The second set stopped working after I moved I called the company to get help instead of getting help they gave me a refund. Really love these plugs. I was able to get 4 into a 7 port surge protector. Set up was very quick and easy. You can rename each plug and set up groups. They are in my video studio and I love them. A la fecha no me han fallado ninguno de los 8 enchufes que he comprado. Al principio pensé que no funcionaban correctamente porque se desconectaban frecuentemente. Investigando un poco, el problema de desconexión de los enchufes, no en realidad de los enchufes, es la potencia con la que router llega a los dispositivos de tu casa. Cambié el router que me dio mi ISP por uno realmente bueno y problema solucionado. Nunca más una desconexión. Si los van a comprar asegurense de tener un router de media tabla para arriba en casa.

Realmente se espera mucho para este adaptador inteligente con Wifi,Se configura de una manera muy rapida para que puedas controlar tu hogar con estos adaptadores inteligentes para convertir tu casa inteligente en mi caso usé Google Home y la integración se realiza muy fácil, unicamente les recomiendo que descarguen la APP SmartLife primero para su registro del enchufe una cuenta y posteriormente lo integran a Google o AlexaRealmente muy facil de integrar con solo una aplicación controlas la casa.
