No longer in the dark (or light)
I recently purchased the Youngzuth Smart Light Switch and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! The switch is compatible with both Alexa and Google Home, making it incredibly easy to control my lights with voice commands. I also love that I can control my lights remotely from anywhere using the Smart Life app on my phone. The timer function is a fantastic feature as well, allowing me to set schedules for my lights to turn on and off automatically. I can even set countdown options for 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour, which is perfect for when I’m in a rush or just want to save some energy. The installation process was quick and easy, and I appreciate that no hub is required. The switch is also made with high-quality materials and has a sleek design that blends in nicely with my home decor.Overall, I highly recommend the Youngzuth Smart Light Switch to anyone looking to make their home a little smarter and more convenient. Plus, with the 100% money-back guarantee, you can buy with confidence knowing that you’re making a risk-free purchase.

Works to automate a duplex single-pole switch
I have a receptacle that controls power to two light fixtures. Unfortunately, it is very close to the door frame and only has room for a single pole switch. Originally, it had a duplex single pole switch with rockers on the top and bottom of the switch. I wanted to integrate this into my home automation, but had a hard time finding a z-wave or WiFi-enabled duplex single-pole switch. As far as I could find, this is the only product that meets this specification. I am so pleased with this switch! It was very easy to swap out (if you’re familiar with basic electrical work) and it fit in my cramped receptacle box! As you can see in the picture, the panel covering had to be trimmed on the right side to fit. I still need to touch up the paint around the switch, but I am very happy with this. I downloaded the Smart Home app, added the switch and gave separate names to the top and bottom switches, then added the devices in the Alexa App. No problems at all, seemless integration and I can control each switch individually or together by speaking to Alexa. As this is not a z-wave or zigbee device, it cannot be integrated with my Smartthings hub, but that’s fine with me since Alexa can do all the automation. The only negative is that is lacks dimmer capability. That’s a big disappointment, but I’m still giving it 5 stars for function and being the only product I could find that works for me!

Using it in place of a single pole switch as a remote for two smart bulb groups.
I am using this switch as a remote control of sorts and figured I’d post my experience in case anyone else was curious if they could use this switch in this way.We put a light fixture in my sons room that had 8 of the RGB LED smart bulbs (Tuya/Smart Life compatible) and while the RGB features were great, the color temperature of those things are awful. We ordered a pair of 2700K white smart bulbs (also Tuya/Smart Life compatible) and set up one group for the RGB lights and one group for the white lights in the Smart Life app. This worked really well except for the fact that his light switch could only turn all of them off and on and when he did, 8 wifi devices connect to his AP all at once. One of the RGB bulbs is finicky and it was obnoxious for him to always have to use the app or his Echo to turn his lights on/off.I saw this switch and thought “I bet I could wire his light fixture to always be on and use this switch as a dummy to control the two groups using some automation routines in the Smart Life app” and I’m happy to report back that it works great. It was as simple as bypassing the switch for the light fixture making it always connected, and powering this switch but leaving the load circuits empty. Once I paired the switch with the app I set up automations to turn on and off his white lights group when the top of the switch was turned on and off respectively, and I did the same thing for the colored group with the bottom switch. All told it takes 4 automations (1 on and 1 off for each switch) and took maybe 5-10 minutes to install and set up.I’m super thrilled with how it worked out.

One of the only dual smart switches out there – works great 99% of the time – WiFi could be better
Works great as a dual smart switch for a single box – these are very hard to come by.Install is pretty simple, and the switch does not take up a lot of space in your wall box – VERY important for older homes like mine that don’t have newer/larger wall boxes. The switch by itself works great – buttons have a good feel and turn on and off easily. The Smart Life app is pretty easy to use; I also integrated it into my Smartthings app with no issue to use in automation. My only issue is the WiFi – I have two of these switches, and both of them disconnect from Wifi every couple of days. Most times they will reconnect by themselves, or I’ll have to hold one of the buttons for 5 – 10 seconds to put the switch back into “pairing” mode – if you don’t use the app to make changes, the switch will just reconnect back to the WiFi it was configured for.I have one of these switches one room away from a WiFi AP, and it still disconnects… and about 8 TP-Link Kasa smart wall switches throughout my house that never disconnect. I’m hoping that a firmware update can resolve this, but in the mean time, it works pretty well and I’m dealing with the disconnections as they come…

Now it is compatible with Alexa
Update review. The seller contacts me to explain the problem with the switch; After this, it seems that the seller contacted the manufacturer and new firmware was applied to the switch and it now works fine with Alexa. It claims to be compatible with Alexa, but it is not 100% compatible with Alexa; Alexa only recognizes one gang. In my case I bought a switch with 2 gangs and it only recognizes one and the second gang does not exist for Alexa. However, it works well with the Smart Life app.

I’ve been using this for two years now never ever had an issue so far phone app is very nice as well. If you have a bunch of switches and you want to combine all three in one this is the one to go for.

The model that I got had bluetooth & wifi. Configuring it however took forever, the app would detect it but somehow wouldn’t finish configuring it. Not too sure if it was my wifi related, which has the same ssid for 5 & 2.4. However I configured additional ssid on 2.4 and wpa2, after which I was able to connect to it successfully.Once connected, it has been been working perfectly. Integrated with both Alexa & Google without issues. The switch itself didn’t come with screws to install it, so had to steal the screws from the old switch.(hence 4 stars)Apart from that, the whole body is insulated in plastic. It has screw holes in the following configuration:GroundNeutralLiveLoad1emptyLoad2I had to add wires for Ground & Neutral, as my previous switch didn’t need those.
