    This smart 3-way switch works well with the SmartLife or Tuya wifi apps, smart assistant, and other 3-way dumb switches. It can function as a single pole smart switch as well, you simply cap off the traveler wire. The instructions with this switch are thorough and help you to figure out the concept of wiring this thing into a 3-way configuration with a separate load, power, and traveler circuitry. A general knowledge of wiring is very helpful when attempting to install this light switch; although the instructions are thorough this can still be very confusing. Once wired correctly the switch was very simple to connect to my 2.4 Ghz wireless network through the Smartlife app and it automatically populated on the devices in my Alexa smart assistant. This switch is very responsive and communicates instantly with wireless functions or from another switch within the same circuit. I would say that this switch is best used in locations that ambient light will not be an issue because the switch has green LED light that is lit when the light is off and a red LED light when it is switched on. There does not seem to be a way to make this LED light dim or stay off. I suppose this would act as a night light in bedroom areas, yet it is very nice to have the ambient glow in dark hallways. The depth of this switch is relatively compact and will leave just enough room in standard electrical outlet boxes for wiring and wire caps to all fit. It comes with a screw less style faceplate, but will work with any faceplate when combined in a multiple gang outlet situation. This switch differs slightly than a typical decorator style flat type switch because it doesn’t toggle, you simply push the switch to manually turn it on or off and there is an audible click of the internal relay. This click is the same even when you activate this switch remotely from the app or smart assistant. It is a good value for the features offered in a smart switch when compared to more expensive name brand equivalents. If you are looking for a responsive 3-way smart switch that is compatible with smart assistants as well as other simple 3-way switches, give this unit a consideration.

    Very modern looking
    After looking at other reviews, I see I need to begin mine with a disclaimer: I am reviewing the two-pack 3-way smart switch Alexa and Google Home 2.4 Ghz WiFi. Due to the number of other products offered in this listing, I suggest you take details of the older reviews under advisement because the product has apparently undergone some design changes after those reviews were posted. As an example, the switches I received are not touch sensitive. They are actuated by pushing, and each time you push them they either turn on or off.This device was quite easy to wire. The instructions are well written and it worked right away when I powered up the circuit. It has a little pilot light that glows green when the switch is open (no lights) and red when the switch is closed. It does not offer any dimming.It comes with a faceplate designed to snap right onto the switch, so there are no visible screws on the faceplate. I do not know if a regular faceplate will work with this switch or not. It looks like there other configurations available with 2 and 3 gang applications, so you could purchase those instead if that is your situation.The native app for remote control downloads to your smartphone, and once you go through the registration process, it is controllable from your phone via the app, which is called Smart Life.Here’s where things get a little strange. I have other devices that use other apps, namely Tuya Smart and Geevon. I learned that these three apps are interrelated, and if you use a different password for one or the other, you’re going to be unable to login to any of the other two apps.I have a variety of lights and smart plugs that I control using my primary home automation app, SmartThings. Once you have a product registered with their native app (in this case it is Smart Home), you can control it through SmartThings through linked arrangements you set up. All my Tuya native smart plugs are controllable through SmartThings, and Smart Life is theoretically compatible as well. But when I am in Smart Things, and I look at the available devices registered to Smart Life, this switch does not appear. I will keep investigating, and hopefully it will begin working properly soon.Another thing I will mention is that this switch shows up in my Smart Life app identified by chinese characters (see image). I believe this might be such a new product that some of these hiccups have not been worked out yet…UPDATE: Based on a comment from another review, I deleted the switch from the Smart Life app and tried to register it to the Tuya app. I was able to add it to the other devices that use the Tuya app, so I have at least simplified my life by eliminating the Smart Life app. However, this switch still is labeled with Chinese characters in the app and, unlike the other devices in my Tuya smart home app, it is still not recognized by my SmartThings app.

    Easy Setup
    Having several 2 light switch boxes in the house, purchasing 2 – 1 gang switches and finding a cover that fits is almost impossible. This really solves the issue. The switches install on a plate then the cover attaches to the plate making both switches even and giving a flawless look on the wall. The switches are lighted by a green light so in the dark the switch is easy to find. Setup was a breeze as there is no specific app needed and the app I already use worked perfectly. Both switches installed in about 10 minutes including removing the old. The button press is flawless and there is zero delay in response which is awesome as I have had issues with other brands in the past. The only complaint really is thesound, when using the app to turn on/off or pressing the switch there is a loud click, while most other switches I have installed do this too, this one seems to be a little louder. Besides the sound the buttons are smooth, install is simple and the overall look is flawless making this 2 gang switch the perfect solution to double switches.
