    I’ve tried a couple brands of smart bulbs and these are by far my favorites. They are much easier to set up and connect to Apple Home than other brands I have tried. I didn’t want to throw these across the room during the set up process like I do others!) They app is easy to use, has some helpful features, and there is a decent selection of preset scenes. I do wish there were more scene options, but am also excited to try and create my own. It is also very easy to sync these to whatever music I am listening to in the house! They are bright when dim…if that makes sense and really just give a happy boost to our home!

    Lasted a year. But worth it.
    I love this bulb and its functions. I would give 5 stars if it didn’t stop working after a year. But they are cheap enough. I’m the video you can see the remote buttons don’t match the bulb and it no longer turns off, just turns red. I bought another one and used the new remote thinking maybe the remote was broken but it’s the bulb itself. But for $6 I’m not mad.

    4-pack includes 4 highly-compatible controllers
    Inexpensive color-changing LED bulbs come and go, and many don’t work with controllers from other brands. This eventually leads to an annoying situation in which, e.g., you point a controller at a bulb and hit the “red” button and the bulb goes bright blue or starts flashing through all the colors. Given how long LED lights last, this is going to become an increasingly annoying problem; it is already happening in our house.The controllers that come with these bulbs seem to work with most of the other bulbs in our house, from at least three different purchases over the past years. (For reference, they have “Magic Lighting” written on them, though I’m not sure that is only written on this kind of controller.) So, after our “trial purchase” of one bulb of each of several brands, we bought a four-pack of these YKNAWOIR, and were happy to find that we got four controllers, so I just purchased another four-pack.The one limitation of these bulbs is that, according to the Amazon info, they’re under 500 lumens, even though they say “60W equivalent”. I went to the GE light bulb web site, and found various 60W incandescent bulbs that gave between 550 and 825 lumens; so, clearly “60W equivalent” is not a particularly meaningful term; bulb makers slap it on lots of bulbs that are under 500 lumens. If you care about brightness, you need to look for lumens when you shop.We use these mostly to move through the amber-to-red colors in our nightstand lights, in the hour before going to sleep. We usually want 100-200 lumens per bulb at that time, so these are more than bright enough for that (if we set them to full brightness amber at night, they are way too bright). We get totally different bulbs for our overhead lights, since they have a dimmer switch on the wall, so we wouldn’t expect these bulbs to work anyway.

    Get what you pay for
    Remote worked for about 5 minutes. Now it’s stuck on blue. I’ll have to grab a battery from a store before I can determine if it’s a battery or remote issue. However, judging by the flimsy feel off the remote and the poorly printed label on it, it seems likely to be just a cheap item behaving as such.

    Great for displays
    I use these to add multi-color lighting to fall baskets we built for family and friends. I made my wife a display with a wifi smart bulb and some fam and friends loved it. Most don’t have a smart speaker so they couldn’t use the wifi bulbs. These remote controlled bulbs were a perfect substitute. They give the fun functionality without putting a wiretap into your home or office.

    Remote stopped working at 7 weeks
    I have had this bulb for only 7 weeks, using it occasionally, and the remote has completely stopped working, even to just turn off the light. I tried a couple of different new batteries hoping that was the problem, but still nothing. Then I tried some other similar remotes I have but this bulb would not respond to any of those so I had to unplug the light fixture to turn it off. Since it it past the Amazon return timeframe, I feel the manufacturer should send me a replacement remote or make an allowance for both the bulb and remote to be returned for a full refund.
