Whats the difference between Elements Hexagons and Shapes Hexagons?
Elements do not have RGB capabilities. Also, Elements emit cool to warm white light and the corners on the panels can each illumiate individually to create an organic sense of motion, whereas the entire Shapes panel is illuminated at the same time.
Can I connect Elements with Shapes?
Yes, both Elements and Shapes are designed with Connect+ technology, that allows you to connect them together in one layout. We recommend to use Elements linkers to connect Elements to Shapes.
Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?
No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.
What is the difference between a Smarter Kit and an Expansion Pack?
Every Nanoleaf Smarter Kit has everything you need to set up the lights. It includes a Controller and a Power Supply unlike Nanoleaf Expansion Packs. An Expansion Pack is an addition to a Smarter Kit which cannot be used without owning a Smarter Kit.

Really nice ambient lighting
I had a light strip on the back of my desk, but it didn’t have enough light to light up the back of my monitor. These light bars add really nice ambient lighting. I was surprised by how bright it can actually get when you choose whiteish color (though you can choose rgb colors, I liked this natural color the most). Also the lights were pretty easy to set up on the app and connect with Alexa well. Overall one of my favorite add-ons to my room’s light.

The light is extremely easy to use and easy to setup. You just connect everything to your home wifi and you will be able to use it with the app on the phone and basically control everything. The led is also good and it also comes with a remote to quickly turn it on and off. Highly recommend for anyone with monitor or tv.

Stuck in pairing mode
Excited when I got these lights but when I plugged them in I think they are just stuck in pairing mode and just flashing white. The app keeps kicking me out of my wifi. Remote isnât working and power button attached to cord does nothing. Also want to point out this is not the correct brand to what is pictured these are Dream Color brand that I received.
