    Warm white color/hue mismatch
    After installing four sets of these, I was disappointed to see that one set of lights has a vast kelvin difference from the other. Three out of four sets of these lights match, and the one does not even come close. Likewise, the set that has a color mismatch also has a slight flicker to it. None of the other sets do that. Had it not been for the defective set, these would have been phenomenal lights. I will keep updated on how the others do.The company reached out and made this right with a replacement set that matches perfectly. There is something to be said about great customer support.

    Great light Easy install
    Works well with Alexa. Very easy installation, and I’m a 76 year old woman, not a handyman. I installed it in on the ledge of a low, loft wall for subtle illumination in the room below. Does a great job, and I don’t have to go upstairs to turn it off, I just use Alexa. Very easy linking to network and Alexa.

    Not a seamless look, adhesive is bad, electronic whining sound
    You can absolutely still see the individual lights on these, it’s no better than regular LEDs. The adhesive won’t hold them up under my kitchen cabinets, not even when I added additional adhesive when they kept falling down. The cords are super bulky and long, impossible to hide for my purposes. The AC adaptor makes a high pitched whining sound after a few days, I had to unplug it this morning. Not going to be able to use these at all, wish I hadn’t wasted my money and time trying to make these work.

    It changed the entire look of the room.
    It was an easy install for my application, less than 15 minutes. The app is easy to use but took me a bit to figure out how to get it connected to Alexa. I ended up doing a search on Alexa after going to the FAQ on the app. Very pleased with temp and brightness levels. Now looking to purchase another set for another project.

    Really Good Wi-Fi COB LED Light Strip
    The COB light strip is very bright and puts out lots of light. Testing it with my phone for banding reveals that there is none under full power. That’s a good sign. Also, at 50% power and 10% power all I can notice are diffraction patterns from the multiple closely spaced LED lights and the cell phone’s small aperture. But there is no banding.Of course, this is a Wi-Fi controlled LED strip so, you have to use their special Wi-fi Bluetooth app to hook up to it. Using another already installed app on my phone didn’t seem to work. Of course, there is no guest account, you have to create an account – not a fan. The controller easily connects to the app once it’s installed and the light strip is easily controlled from the app. I can adjust it all the way from 0% to 100% and everything in between. It’s not super easy because it tends to kind of jump around based on where your finger is on your screen, but if you move slowly, you can adjust it to where you want it. It also has an easy on button and off button.I turned off the app on my phone, then unplugged the Wi-fi controller. I came back about 10 minutes later, plugged it in, and it came on to the same light setting, 10%, that I left it at. The app was still off on my phone. That means you can set the light level you want with the app, shut the app down, and the light level will stay that way until you change it even if it’s unplugged for a long time. I like it!I now have a way to control the level and the on/off of my theater room accent lighting from my chair. However, apps on my phone are a hassle because I have to first open the app.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a very versatile product with a good Wi-fi controller and controller app. You can use the app for many other Wi-fi controlled devices in your home, too. The COB LED light strip gives out bright light, or dimmed way down to your desired setting. That’s what most people want.

    I ordered this COB LED light strip expecting the quality and simplicity, I’ve expected after many orders in the past. This kit was missing the usual remote control that always easy to operate making adjustments as needed. Sadly this counts on a poorly engineered application that has 2 stars. I ended up buying a different brand that works great.

    For the high price I am disappointed that every time I go back to where I installed these lights they are hanging down. The adhesive is not good at all. And the lights are substantially brighter on the end with the plug from the other end, so the lighting effect is not uniform.
