    Easy to use, setup takes some knowledge
    The Shelly dimmer was easy to install and had many more features for really complex needs. I inserted it in a magnetic led transformer to manage on/off and dimmer function through my Amazon interface. It works flawlessly. Directions are brief, but there are RSS streams and videos on automation that can assist one with whatever their need. Coincidentally, mine was minor and it was harder to find basic use instructions.

    Used it to convert my dumb light switch to a smart light switch
    Took a little figuring out, but I used one of these to successfully convert a 3 way table lamp with switch into a smart 3 way table lamp that still retained the use of the original switch.Dimmer is very fast and can be controlled locally on your LAN. Highly recommend for automating!

    Flickering LED lights.
    I have other Shelly products that work flawlessly. Unfortunately, I was unable to get this Shelly Dimmer 2 to work. I have a good neutral supply yet still the four connected led lights constantly flickered at any dimming level in spite of trying multiple setting on the Shelly App. Dissapointed.

    I would give 10 stars if possible
    These are amazing! Literally any feature you could ever want are already included. This smart dimmer is really geared for makers and tinkerers and is obviously set up for being integrated into projects and other devices.I have it set up to control and dim a string of 10 LED under cabinet lights in my kitchen. It even has switch inputs that are completely configurable so you can retain physical controls. Their website even has Arduino integration tutorials!I love that it automatically calibrates the 0-100 brightness settings so you have a full usable range. It also tracks power usage! You can even have it ping webhooks!I had this set up and integrated with Google Home in minutes.Absolutely the best home automation purchase I’ve made in years of not ever.

    Biggest pain out of any smart home product ever
    I really wanted to like this thing, I really did. Installation wasn’t too hard, but after getting it installed, setup and configuration was a NIGHTMARE. There is no manual adjustment for dimming calibration, the app is kind of clunky and doesn’t make much sense, and to top it all off, if the lights are set to any less than 100% brightness, they flicker bad enough to make you turn them all the way off. Waste of time and money, I won’t be buying anything Shelly ever again.

    Physical Switch doesn’t operate
    Impossible to get the physical switch to work. I understand the position of the light switch may be changed due to someone turning on the switch, and later the light being switched off by the app, but the switch does not turn on the light, only off. Rewired the light 5x and could not get the physical switch to work, also tested a Shelly 1PM, same results.These are great if you want to rely on pure smart home control, but if you need a physical switch as well, may need to explore more.

Sie bieten eine großartige Möglichkeit, die Beleuchtung intelligent zu steuern, ohne dabei auf manuelle Bedienbarkeit verzichten zu müssen.Einfache Installation und Einrichtung:Die Dimmer lassen sich problemlos in tiefen Unterputzdosen platzieren, sodass bei sauberer Kabelverlegung ausreichend Platz bleibt, um Schalter oder Taster ordnungsgemäß einzubauen. Dank Bluetooth und WLAN ist die Einrichtung über die Shelly App äußerst simpel und schnell erledigt.Zuverlässigkeit mit kleineren Ausnahmen:Im Alltag arbeiten die Dimmer zuverlässig, allerdings kommt es gelegentlich – meist nach Stromausfällen oder beim Abschalten des Stroms – vor, dass ein Dimmer nicht mehr erreichbar ist.     Que esperar de los productos de Shelly. Sinónimo de calidad, amplia configuración y confianza. Probé con un dimmer genérico Zigbee, ya que me interesaba que lo fuera, pero lo tuve que devolver y comprar este, por problema de homogeneidad en el encendido e iluminación. Una pena que Shelly esté con ZWave Qubino, que hace que sus productos sean muy caros, y una tecnología por la que quizá no nos decantamos la gente que vamos a una domótica más generalista, algo low-cost.Más allá de eso, el funcionamiento es exquisito, a través de la app, plataforma web u otro tipo de plataformas, tipo Home Assistant, se puede optar por un sinfín de opciones de configuración.
