    Never knew I would use those, welcome to the future.
    Just had surgery on hand and have arthritis. Hooked these bulbs up to three lights in house and no longer have to struggle turning on or off. Great,easy to use, product.

    Know What You’re Buying
    This bulb DOES work, but I assumed it was the same as the Sengled bulb I got with an Echo Dot earlier this year, and despite the package being nearly identical, it was not the same bulb. That bulb REQUIRED the Alexa app, but no other app, which is what I was going for as I didn’t want to have to download yet another app. This bulb did require the Sengled app, which was easy enough the link with Alexa, and has some neat features like the “Effects” options which let me do a cool Halloween effect.Installation had a brief hiccup, as the bulb requires a 2.4 network. My wifi setup provided by my internet provider, Spectrum, supposedly detects the required network automatically, yet this bulb didn’t find the 2.4 on the first couple tries. Eventually it did and has been working. I understand that may have been a Spectrum issue and not an issue with the bulb, though most of my “smart” products have connected flawlessly.

    Nice smart bulb
    We use this in the family room lamp fixture and it works great with that. I’ve only tried one other smart bulb brand (kasa 9 watt multicolored wifi). Compared to the Kasa, it is not quite as bright in the white light. When it comes to the colored lights, they are about equal brightness.I also find that these respond to echo requests much faster (almost instantly) compared to the Kasa which has difficulty sometimes taking as long as 20 seconds to respond. Overall the Sengled is my favorite of the two.

    Don’t do it….
    I bought 3 of these. The signal strength is full om the app. I have 2 that only have connectivity issues when the light is off, and I have one that just doesn’t work at all as a smart bulb and it’s in the same room as my router. I tried to give it a year to give them a chance and still junk. Don’t waste your money on these.

    The only brand I will buy going forward
    The least hassel to get up and working. Bought a few other brands when Sengled did not have a product to fit a particular application. Now I have multiple manufacturer’s hubs that had me pulling my hair out. Sengled….. by far the most straight forward and reliable products I have found.

    They don’t work half the time.
    I have 6 bulbs and 4 strips all of them randomly quit working, Alexa says they can’t reach the server. I thought it was my WIFI router so I bought a Netgear Nighthawk with WIFI 6, I had planned to buy the router before I purchased the Sengled products. I purchased a new lamp and wanted it to work with everything else so I purchased this last bulb which will not work at all network does not even see it? I now have over $200 dollars in lighting so I guess I will try a different product and replace them one at a time.

    I bought this one after buying their bluetooth version and could not get that one to work. This wifi one was not the easiest to instal to my rougher, but with some time and patience I got it to work. Only wish the app would just stay connected at all times for easier use on my phone. When you turn the light off and back on it stays at the same setting as last too. So if it’s dimmed or colored, it’s the same till you adjust on app.
