    Slight problem, easily fixed.
    I control these bulbs from our Amazon Echos. They set up easily enough and each can be controlled by any Echo in the house. You can easily control color and brightness with word commands or through the Alexa app. However, one bulb of the four failed after setup and would not respond to commands, but still worked as a “dumb” bulb. I contacted Amazon through chat to see if I could return just one bulb, but that was not an option. They sent me a link to the manufacturer’s help desk where I found instructions to give the bulb a hard reset. After a new setup, the bulb works fine. I ordered another four bulbs.

    Easy install
    Easy to install lights just screw in and pair, I have run into issues with the pair disconnecting but it’s an easy fix. Turn off or unplug all lights and unplug echo for 30 seconds then turn back on and turn on lights again. Easy fix

    Sengled is hit or miss
    Okay, first point: THIS product seems to be way better than my previous Sengled products. The auto pairing feature is the best! I can pair them directly with my Alexa device, no Sengled app required. No linking accounts. No hub. Super easy to get started with voice control. A++I even bought a 2nd 4-pack to replace another set of Sengled bulbs, which brings me to my second point…Second point: I bought these bulbs to replace some other WI-FI Sengled bulbs that i have had for about a year. THOSE Sengled Wi-Fi bulbs did NOT auto pair and had to be FIRST connect to Wi-Fi through the Sengled app, THEN linked to the Alexa app with the Sengled SKILL. Well, all fine and good until the Sengled App and the Alexa app suddenly stopped talking to each other. Voice control over.Oh, but there is more…I also had a Sengled hub with some Sengled Zigbee bulbs that ALSO suddenly stopped working with my hub. They won’t connect to the hub at all, can’t be discovered, can’t be added manually…so also, Sengled Hub + another 4 bulbs , USELESS. In less than 2 years.I understand technology is changing rapidly, but these functions stopped working suddenly. I have wasted hours of my time working through all the troubleshooting measures, I have wasted hundreds of dollars, and all I want is for my lights to be easily controlled by voice since I have a disability that limits my mobility.These auto pair lights are BY FAR the easiest to set up ! No linking of accounts required, but just be warned that what you enjoy today may suddenly stop working in the future without much rhyme or reason.

    Multiple Colors and Dimming
    They were flawlessly detected by my echo. I see some of the bad reviews and i suspect that people don’t realize these are connected by Bluetooth so the distance between the echo and the light bulb cannot be too great. It needs to be within the same room equal to any other Bluetooth device. Since i have echos all over the house, this is not an issue for me. The bulb itself is right for the lumen rated and the dimming is a good extra. I never change colors but is good to know it’s there. You can tell Alexa the color you like and the dimming level although i always set them on cool white. Again, this will not work across the house let say from the living room to the patio. It’s a Bluetooth constraint not a bulb fault.

    Amazing bulbs, Works seamlessly with Echo
    I was not particularly interested in these bulbs when I found a promotion with which I was able to buy a bulb for 1 dollar. I purchased without any expectations, just out of curiosity. I found it is amazing. Since my floor lamp has five bulbs, I purchased four more (at a regular price). Why I like these bulbs?(1) Works seamlessly with Echo/Alexa. No need to install any additional software. Just install the bulbs, turn them on, and tell Alexa “Find my new devices” and everything works after that.(2) Since my floor lamp has five bulbs, I want them to be controlled together, and it was easy to accomplish as I can group the bulbs as “lights in the living room.”(3) I am not super happy with Alexa in general as the connection with my iPad (which I use to choose music to be played on Echo) is not always stable, and Alexa often misunderstand the music I want it to play. But with these bulbs, the connection has been stable and reliable, and Alexa always understand my orders so far (“Turn on the lights” “Turn off the lights” “Good night” “Turn the lights to Blue” “Turns the lights to 50%”). This makes Echo actually useful as voice-controlled device for the first time.(4) They can change color. I can dim them with voice (0% to 100%).(5) I can turn on/off with my iPhone (Alexa app) as well.Some very minor complaints…(6) It seems that party mode (color of lights changing randomly) can be available only when I use the Sengled App, not through Alexa. This is a bummer. Not that I use the party mode anytime soon, but wish I can do everything I could do with these bulbs only with Alexa. Maybe there is a way., but it is not obvious how to do it. But since I am not sure I use the party mode ever, it’s a minor complaint.(7) Wish they are a bit cheaper, especially if I buy a lot at the same time (if they are cheaper I could buy a more more for all bulbs in my room).

    These are great lights. Easy to integrate with Alexa… just screwed into lamp and turned on. Asked Alexa to find them, and done. My favourite thing about them is you can ask Alexa to turn on light at 50% or 10% etc. It will remember your last brightness and will turn on at that brightness unless you ask to change it. My lamps don’t have dimmers but the smart bulb will do it for me. It’s perfect for tuning on a light with out disturbing someone who may be sleeping next to you with a bright light. One of my favourite new purchases.
