Great customer service
The camera was easy to set up and worked great for months. Then it developed an issue internally with the battery not taking a charge. The customer support team helped me to troubleshoot it. It was determined the unit needed replacement which was handled very quickly. My new unit was up and running in no time. I will be adding more Reolink cameras to the property. Support after the purchase is very important to me.

Trackmix Cameras
Bought two of these nearly two years ago. Easy to set up, very reliable service. One camera stopped working, wouldn’t power on. Company replaced under warranty, no problems. Very nice cameras, with zoom, following, etc. I do recommend these.

Terrible Unit – Erratic Connection on stable wifi – no firmware updates – Too many hard resets
The software is unstable in keeping a connection to a stable wifi (2.4 or 5) even 12″ away. Great concept, design, marketing material videos are accurate IF you can keep a wi-fi connection. Updated to a gamer router on 2GB fiber, if connection is lost, you have to climb up to the unit, remove two tiny screws, to turn off, turn on, press reset with a tiny pin head, twice, with your phone in your hand to reconnect to a wifi. NO firmware updates, confusing products across the board. Two other models have different ratings in my experience; although a problem with each; Hub purchase, won’t keep a wired LAN connection to ‘create the reolink’ wifi/lan should your internet go out. Pro 4, keeps connectivity stand alone or with hub, video quality great. BUT, one lens fogs over at purchase, temperature, moisture make a 180 degree camera, a 90 degree camera. All very delayed in detection, for example, amazon can deliver to door, and the camera doesn’t activate to capture the delivery, great for fast amazon drop off, bad for the TWO breakins we’ve had with this device and other Reolink ‘monitoring’. Nothing caught on camera.

Constant Connection Issues
Updated Review 12/2/2024: I’ve been working with Sandy at Reolink and been trying to troubleshoot the issue. They sent a replacement TrackMix and seems to be working well. I’ll give it some more time to see if any issues rears itself. Their customer service has been great! Sandy has been on top of everything and making sure the whole process was as painless as possible. Not sure if Reolink corporate has some weird manager to jump in on the trouble ticket but somewhere in the middle, someone else responded that was pretty useless and I demanded to speak to Sandy only to continue our resolution. Will keep everyone updated on how everything goes.Original Review on/about Oct 21, 2024: I am in the process of moving away from Eufy as their products are terrible in detection and what’s the point in security camera if it doesn’t detect anything (or detect a moving branch but not a car????). Did a lot of research and a friend also recommended Reolink system. I am impressed with the detection but the connection is absolutely terrible. On my S20 Ultra, the app always says “Not Connected”. When I do connect, it takes FOREVER for the stream to start that is if it does. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries (back to the main screen and select this camera again). Pretty annoyed with this. I did read about connection issue but I thought it might be their network or just a non-techie. I was wrong. Even on 5ghz, it does this. This goes for the Duo 2 as well (another review on that too). Pickup on motion is also a little delayed missing out about the first 3 to 4 seconds of action. Not what I was expecting. When I first setup this camera, it was…. interesting. Was not expecting dual view; one wide and the other zoomed in. Nice feature but a little gimmicky. IR washes out plates so if a car/truck pulls up, not going to read the plates. Tried the spot light, same effect. A bit disappointed.I’ll give credit where credit is due: the detection and tracking is amazeballs!!!!! I tested myself leaving my property a good 70 ft away from the camera and it picked up the motion and the tracking followed me even with a tree in the way. VERY IMPRESSED.Nice camera but a bit overpriced for the $200 (tax included). I’m actually temped in going to Eufy S340 as it’s on sale now and I’m already in their ecosystem (though I wish I wasn’t).

Good solar camera with PTZ capabilities
I now have 5 of these PTZ Solar cameras along with several older non-PTZs.These are definitely an improvement over the prior models, with the dual camera lenses. The zoom is very good, and the picture quality is improved. One limitation to the zoom function, is that you can only save the zoom rate at about 30% of capability. This could be fixed, to allow the zoo. Lens to remain at any % of zoom.**** UPDATE 9/24 *****The object detection can be greatly improved from the default which is poor, by going to Settings | Detection Alarm | Sensitivity and increasing it from the default to 90+. AND setting – Object Size – for Vehicle |Maximum size to about 2/3 of the screen size. I was very disappointed in detection capability unit I used this. I have not seen it in documentation.Warranty Service on these is pretty good. I had one camera that was a year old that needed a hard button reset, that would not due to a physical problem with the control board. After the customary âTry the following stepsâ¦..email, it was escalated to the actual warranty rep, and the camera was quickly replaced.Good cameras for security recording.

camera is great, app is not
Love the camera quality and its features. Motion detection works as itâs supposed to for me and the spotlight is on point. But the app is so buggy. Constantly having connection error/failure multiple times a day. I usually have to hard reset out of the app and sometimes it still wonât even work.
