Seems like a good option
I have other Reolink cameras and wanted a doorbell camera, but didn’t want to drill holes for cables. So the battery powered option was intriguing. I read that it does not come with a chime, so I bought a chime as well. The installations was straight forward, the usual Reolink process. Pairing with the chime wasn’t quite so easy, the instructions didn’t say to push the button on the chime to start the pairing process. But when I got to the step that indicated a failure, the “re-pair” instructions were complete.The most disappointing aspect is trying to figure out if I can have multiple doorbells (ie front door and backdoor) each with their own chime. I asked that question and Reolink replied that I can, but I don’t trust their answer because they also claimed the chime came with the doorbell. It doesn’t.Guess I will have to buy a second set and find out.

Not Impressed
I love reaolink cameras but this one is definitely not one of them.I have a 8 camera set up with NVR.I love that this camera is super easy to set up.Works with existing chime.The scope of vision is ultra wide.Fish Eye view!I was able to link it to my existing NVR but unfortunately was disappointed when I noticed that it does not have continuous stream or recoding, and would go to sleep shortly after.I unlinked it from my NVR and now doing an SD card.(256GB)The PIR is very slow compared to Google Nest 2nd Gen.By the time the event loads on my phone the person or event is long gone.Google was impressively fast but I think that’s because it ran continuous.This camera has so much potential.

Hardware Very Good, Software and Support Problematic At Best
I have multiple Reolink cameras And was hopeful the doorbell/camera would provide high quality images and integrate into the existing Reolink NVR. Getting the doorbell connected either directly to your Wi-Fi or through the NVR is difficult, works only intermittently and often leaves you without a doorbell. This issue is unrelated to whether you are connecting with a chime. In my case the power is hard wired, no battery, and there is no chime. I mention this because chat responses will often refer to problems of battery status or chime wiring, even if you specifically state you have neither. Be aware of these problems: Connecting with Reolink support means a 24 hour lag between every communication. Their support is offshore and an exchange involving 3 follow ups for instance can take 5 days. The on-line documentation is difficult to follow because the illustrations are often of prior versions of the product. So too with the written step-by-step suggestions for correcting a problem. Much useful information is simply not in the documentation, e.g. how the battery affects operation with a wired power connection, how the NVR takes control of connections and disconnects previously separately connected cameras, etc. There are constant firmware upgrades (3 within the 7 days I have been trying to solve the lost connection problem) which should not be an issue except that the first question from support is whether you have downloaded the most recent firmware. Using on-line chat is not helpful, it is an AI system which runs into the same problems I have listed. If you get past the AI robot and are chatting with a live person, it quickly becomes obvious that the person is only entering your query into the AI system. That leaves opening a ticket with the 24 hour lad your only option.

La dependencia de la conexión a internet para aprovechar al máximo las funcionalidades del videotimbre, es necesaria una conexión a internet estable.3. Para el almacenamiento en la nube requiere abonar una cuota mensual.👉 MI CONCLUSIÓN:Resumiéndolo todo, este videotimbre de Reolink es un producto excepcional que combina una calidad de imagen superior con una amplia gama de funciones inteligentes. Su fácil instalación, su resistencia a las inclemencias del tiempo y su flexibilidad en cuanto a opciones de almacenamiento lo convierten en una elección ideal para cualquier hogar. Si quieres tener un videotimbre que te brinde seguridad, tranquilidad y comodidad es sin dudarlo una excelente opción dándonos a ofrecer una experiencia de vigilancia doméstica completa y de alta calidad.
