I recently purchased this set of remote control outlets and I must say, I am incredibly impressed with their functionality. These outlets have truly made my life so much more convenient, they are also small enough to use the second outlet. Response amazing and with 2 remotes!
Previously, I was using a different product brand — a 3-button single remote, with 3 large, boxy plugs that needed direct line point-to-plug to work (not necessarily line of site). This easy to use 5-sensor/2 remote product is great. The 5 separate plugs don’t take up as much outlet space and pretty roomy for 2nd outlet use, and they respond without line of site or direct alignment. They have a radio dial (blue-lit) beacon within the plug face that I accidentally pushed on and it lit, but the outlet plugs work without it. I have a 1900 sq. ft. 1-story home and have one in the den at very front of house, one in a long entrance hall, and use and are planning to use the others for lights around my living room. I have one or two in a power strip behind the couch for my audio equipment. All sensor plugs work with BOTH/EITHER of the remotes for the sensor plugs. The great thing, instead of 1 remote, there are two. I leave one at my recliner, and one on the other side of the living room on a table – but of course, you could keep one at your bedside and control lighting at bedside, so you don’t trip or run into something with lights OUT on the way to your bedroom–guilty!. Hmmm. Good idea actually! I assume these this set would also be WONDERFUL for 2-story — saves trips up/down stairs for turning on fans shooting down to 1st floor, etc. This product is magical! I’m now thinking of another set for use with other rooms for lighting, computer, fan, etc. Not sure if they would conflict with the 1st set, but I am definitely willing to try 2 sets. Seriously terrific! Enjoy!

Remote Control Outlet â Convenient, but Could Be More Reliable
I purchased this remote control outlet to make it easier to turn my lights and appliances on and off without having to get up, and itâs been pretty handy overall. The remote works well and has a good rangeâno issues with controlling devices from across the room. Itâs perfect for my lamps and even works with my fan, making it a lot more convenient to control everything from one spot.However, I did run into a few reliability issues. Sometimes the outlet doesnât respond on the first try, and I have to press the button a couple of times before it turns on or off. Itâs not a huge deal, but a little frustrating when youâre trying to control something quickly.The setup was simple, and the outlet itself feels sturdy. I like that itâs compact and doesnât take up too much space, and the remote is small enough to store easily when not in use.Overall, itâs a great idea and mostly works well, but it could use a bit more consistency. If you need a remote outlet for convenience and donât mind a little occasional lag, itâs a good choice. Just be prepared for it to not always work perfectly every time.

The plugs are easy to setup. Simply plug into an outlet, plug in the item you want to operate, press the power button on plug, and finally, press the off button on the remote. Presto! It works. Plugs are numbered on the back so you know which remote button to press. Simple and it works!
