    Great for post-op
    I will be having an extensive operation and need to sleep in a recliner. I needed a way to shut off the light in my bedroom before I sleep and to turn it on if I need to during the night. This remote is perfect. It comes with its own battery. Just plug in your lamp and it will turn on and off with the remote. Very handy.

    Outlet behind furniture? No problem. Remote in another room? No problem!
    This remote controlled outlet has far exceeded my expectations! I have a silly room that doesn’t have lighting and requires a lamp. It’s annoying needing to go over to the lamp to turn it on each time, especially when it’s behind furniture. It’s much easier to walk into a room and switch the light on at the door than to blindly turn on the lamp in the dark.I was really worried about the outlet being behind furniture, as I thought the remote would need a direct line of sight to be able to work. BOY have I never been happier to be wrong! The remote will turn it on and off even if the outlet is blocked by furniture, and it even works in other parts of the house! Not like I really need it to work in other parts of the house… but it CAN! I only wish there were 2 remotes so I could have one on one end of the room and the other on the other side of the room. That way no matter which way I’m walking into the room, I can turn on and off the light.1000/10 would recommend.

    Game changer
    These light switchers are a game changer for me. I’m able to put a lamp in the corner behind my sofa and not have to try and get to it leaning over the sofa. That’s about impossible for me as I’m handicapped. i pulled out the sofa and plugged this in and moved the lamp to the corner. After I moved the sofa back to where ti belongs I pushed the on button and the lamp immediately came on. What surprised me is that if you push it again it turns to a brighter setting. The lamp has 3 settings but I didn’t expect this devise to know that but it does. It’s so easy and wonderful to use. This is the 2nd time I’ve bought these. I now have 5 of them. I’m using 2 but I know I have two more to plug in and possibly 3 more. Very happy with purchase.

    Good quality, works great.
    I use it for an LED lamp in my office. I have it attached to the wall on a velcro strip to allow me to turn the lamp on as I enter and off as I exit. Very cool. Works great even around corners.
