    The photo speaks for itself. That’s the actual brightness. Another quality product added to my Hue Suite. Perfect for landscape lighting and holiday lighting. The price is most definitely justified.

    So far so good
    Pricey as all Hue. My main problem was that the bridge couldn’t find the light and I had it already glued outside. I moved the bridge closer to the light and it’s now working properly. The light is very bright and the colors are beautiful. Even when it’s not illuminated it has a beautiful shape. Very happy, I hope it lasts me a good amount.Update 12/2/21 – the light strip has been great. No complaints. In total I now have over 80 hue lights. Around 25 just outside the house. I control them all via 2 bridges. Again, I haven’t had a single problem and couldn’t have been happier. Yes it was pretty expensive but to my wife and I it is well worth it. Makes our backyard look amazing at night.

    Perfect Addition to Philips Hue Home
    Love this light strip for my balcony. One note, the length Philips measures includes the cord, so be careful when measuring. Had I known that I would’ve purchased the longer one. Also this is my first light strip so I’m not sure if they’re all this way but this looks to have some waterproofing glue on one of the ends. When the light is on, it does dull the lights toward that end. It almost looks like an aftermarket repair, but since this is my first strip, I can’t be sure.

    Not just for outdoors
    I looked for a diffuse multicolor light I could control with my smartphone. This one intrigued me because it was long, imbedded in plastic, dimmable, and offered color options.I strung this light along the top shelf of a bookshelf in my bedroom At night I set a red color (supposedly best for sleeping), set in on low, and it’s great. If I need more light I can change it or experiment with different colors. I know I could do more with a smart hub and maybe someday I will.

    This is my 2nd light strip and I have double sided taped it into an oak L shaped strip of moulding. I can control it with my phone and with the Phillips battery wall dimmer at the top of the stairs. This was was far cheaper than hiring an electrician and it was a simple solution to light my dark stairs.

    I purchased four of these for underneath the beams around the edge of my pergola top. I received one LST003 and three LCL002. Although the LCL002s are newer than the LST003, they look identical and perform identically, as far as I can tell. I don’t use bluetooth, but maybe that may be a difference. Updating the lightstrips to current firmware took multiple days for some unknown reason, so be prepared for that. One of the lightstrips had clearly been used before, and there was hair stuck to it for some reason. But as it was an outdoor product, I just cleaned it and that was that. Some people have noted the light doesn’t extend all the way to the end of the strip, and I agree, but it looks OK anyway. I wasn’t expecting to need to mount 14 brackets or clips per strip, but it was worth it. Each lightstrip comes with a power supply, but I am using these with a single 95W Hue outdoor power supply, and a bunch of extension cables and T-Connections. (My T-Connections didn’t come with mounting hardware, but I found some here on Amazon 014973297466 Phillips Pan Sheet Metal Screws, 4 x 1-1/2, Piece-100,Zinc. My extension cables are kept in place by PSB-100B coaxial cable staples. You are welcome.)
