    Battery stopped working in about 18 months (or sooner who knows I didn’t test it)
    UPDATE. if this happens to you there is a fix. Hue folk called me this morning and walked me through it and it works again. So happy.This is an expensive lamp. It works but only when on charger now. The whole “portable” part of it doesn’t. Internal battery does not hold a charge. This obviously is an issue and my lamp should be replaced regardless that is over one year. A lot of people have the exact same issue. Either recall the lamp or fix it.

As someone with a substantial investment in the Philips Hue ecosystem (105 bulbs and lamps across my home), experimenting with this lamp felt logical.I recommend this product to those who appreciate low-light settings, are committed to the Philips Hue ecosystem, and are comfortable spending over $100 on what is essentially an upscale nightlight. While it may not suit every need, it undeniably adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to low-light environments.

    Best experience with an integrated Hue light fixture yet
    Integrates so well with my Hue/Apple HomeKit setup, looks good, performs well (other Hue fixtures I’ve purchased I’ve returned due to poor build for their price). My only complaint is yes, it can be easy to send the lamp flying from its charging base and chip it, as I’ve accidentally found out—no cord to allow it just to tip over. It is nice to have the battery component during power outages though. And yes, the ugly rubber grip around the stem (???) is easily removed without leaving any marks.

    I needed a new bedside lamp & this is perfect. Small footprint, a great light without being overwhelming & the ability to set a timer & know that it’s going to do what I want it to do.As always, Hue comes through with a solution.

    Second broken lamp I have received
    This is a review for a second replacement lamp because the first one was also broken. Lamp won’t display Blue or Green colors. The first one rattled when I picked it up. Quality control should be better considering its price.

    Such a great idea, but falls flat in every way
    One of the most overpriced yet charming hue products ever made.I’m fully aware how expensive hue is, I’m pretty used to it by now, but this is way beyond what they typically charge in value. This should be HALF the price, and THEN it would be your typical hue overpriced product. For $160, this is a joke.CONS:- The lamp is VERY wobbly and insecure while sitting on the base- Even worse, every time it wobbles a little, it disconnects from the prongs and the light stutters on and off. The light has NO reason to turn off and back on whenever you disconnect/connect it to base. It’s incredibly annoying- The button on the top is pretty useless, and whatever goober designed this decided that pressing and holding the button should change the color instead of the brightness level. So you heard that right, you cannot control the brightness of this lamp without opening your phone. Good luck trying to quickly turn the brightness down in the middle of the night when you’re walking to the bathroom. You’ll need to fork out at least another $30 just to get a hue smart button to do that.- The battery life is weak, only around 4 hours. In 2024, that’s simply unacceptable to me. Not to mention that there is literally not a single way to check the battery status of the lamp. Not even in the app. What a joke.- the light inexplicably fades between brightness levels, kind of a slow pulse, making you think you’re seeing things or losing your mind. Nope, it just does that randomly and it’s really freaking annoying.- And lastly, because of the design, this provides almost no usable light. If you get this product, it’s likely for one reason only….PRO (only one):The look. And unfortunately, this is one of the cutest looking, most charming decorative pieces I’ve ever bought. That’s the only reason I can’t bring myself to return this, because it just looks so good everywhere I put it. There’s nothing like it anywhere else, which sucks.Whatever you do, DO NOT allow yourself to buy this without a steep discount. It doesn’t even do its very simply job well. Hue, do better.

    Ya tengo con la lámpara casi 1 año y funciona muy bien como todo lo de Philips Hue.En estos momentos se fue la luz y llevo más de 6 horas sin electricidad (gracias CFE). Mis lámparas Hue Go (y algunas otras) me han permitido tener luz en estas horas (voy usando 1 o 2 a la vez).Hace unas horas fue el turno de esta lámpara y me sorprende que han pasado 3 horas y no me he quedado sin luz, ya valió lo que pagué.Además de durar más tiempo que su antecesora, también es más fácil de colocar donde sea, ya que no es redonda. En general estoy contenta con ambas día a día y más un día como hoy que no hay luz.

    Quede muy satisfecho con esta compra, la calidad de la lámpara es excelente, el cuerpo es de metal y la cubierta donde se encuentran los leds es de plástico, en cuanto a la autonomía de la lámpara puedo decir que es buena en comparación al modelo philips hue go anterior, la batería le puede durar uno o dos días dependiendo del brillo y color en el que elijas. Me gustó mucho la portabilidad que tiene, puedes llevarla contigo a cualquier lado de la casa o bien dejarla en un lugar fijo. Encaja bien en cualquier tipo de decoración y con la mayoría de estilo de muebles, yo la tengo en un buró o mesa de noche antiguo de la década de 1960 y se ve bien.
