    It works great when it is connected. It sometime disconnects and requires reconnection to wifi
    This item works great when it’s connected to WiFi. That’s if it stays connected. It hit or miss. I have one working perfectly while the other one keeps disconnecting to WiF. I would need to reconnect frequently.

    Stopped working after ONE day.
    When trying to pair to the Phillips app the first time, the indicator light that lets you know it’s ready to pair took FOREVER to finally start blinking. However, it finally did, and I got everything set up and went on my merry way.Then the next day when I got home from work, the lamp that was supposed to have already turned on was still off. I checked the app, and it said this plug was offline. I have a Phillips smart power strip too that’s plugged into a different outlet, and that one is online, so the internet doesn’t appear to be the problem.I went to try to fix it by reconnecting it to the Wi-Fi in the app, and the pairing indicator light WILL NOT turn on. I pressed for 5 seconds (as instructed), 30 seconds, 5 quick taps, 5 seconds again, I unscrewed it so I could unplug it from the wall (to “turn it off”), plugged and screwed it back in and repeated. It WILL NOT TURN ON. The one outlet on there that isn’t a smart outlet works, so it’s not a breaker/electrical issue. This is just a faulty product. Maybe I happened to get a dud though.

    Easy to install and to use.
    I like this power tap. Setting it up to work with Alexa was impressively easy. Two off the outlets can be controlled independently with Alexa or Google. It is close to the wall keeping it moderately discreet. The controlled outlets are nicely separated so plugging in transformers is not an issue.
