    Assembles easily, works great!
    Well made and sturdy outdoor electrical outlet/ extension cord option. Has multiple ‘channels’ so you can turn on some things without having to turn them all on. Basically each column of plugs is a ‘channel’ and you turn them on with a remote. If anything, this is fancier than I need. The remote is nice, but I plugged this into a timer, and just wanted everything to turn on with my Christmas lights. Doesn’t work that way. I still have to remember to grab the remote and turn them on. And off. Remote is supposed to have a 100 foot range, and it may, but it doesn’t work through my front door, so I have to walk outside. It may turn on through glass, so if you have a glass door, could be fine.In general, this is fantastic, but depending on your needs, this may be more than you asked for.

    Great upgrade for a tried and true holiday decoration solution
    Previously, I’ve used outlet “trees” like this to power the various lights and inflatables in the yard for Halloween and Christmas, but it required multiple units if I wanted to have some turn-off at bedtime while others remained on. The inclusion of the remote allows us to just press the buttons for the outlets that we want to go down (the inflatables) when we turn in, while leaving the lights remaining on through the evening.The only downside is that if you have the strip itself plugged into a timer, ALL the outlets will have to be turned back on manually in order to activate again. Still, until these come with wifi built in (probably a few years away), this is a minor inconvenience, and I just manually reset the next day when I check the mail.

    Whoever Thought of This Is Amazing
    I have a ton of inflateable decorations for holidays and I absolutely loathed going outside to turn them of or on in inclimate weather. If it rains they have to be on or the water pools and you have to mess with 10 blow up figures to get them blown up again, if it is windy turn them off so they don’t rip out of the ground, if it snows a lot turn them on so they don’t get buried… it was just annoying every year. Well this makes that chore very easy because I just control them from a remote inside the house. On top of that instead of having multiple extensions from multiple outlets around the perimeter of the house it is just one outlet with 25 plugs on it. I have not fully loaded this thing up but with 10 devices plugged into it there are no problems. I love it and if you are in my boat with the holiday decorations you will too.

    Decent plug with few drawbacks
    The electrical plug functions well in terms of having 6 outlets for outdoors. It should be fairly easy to use, meaning you have a remote, and on/off switch on the back of the outlets. However, i could not get the remote to work. I tried everything, followed directions to pair, nothing works. I am able to manually turn on switches from the back which turns on all of the switches on.Second issue is you can’t use timers in conjunction with this outlet. I tried putting helloween decorations on this switch outlet, and placing it on a timer. When the timer cuts electricity to the outlet the switch turns off, and when the timer switches on the outlet needs to be manually turned back on.It appears decently built, but I don’t see too many functionalities to be switching decorations manually every day, therefore 3 stars. It works, but has two major flaws in my opinion.

    Great for all our decorations outside!
    We put up a lot of decorations for holidays (lights, blow molds, inflatables, etc.) and I use a lot of extension cords and power strips/power towers. This one is unique given it has a remote with 3 different “channels” or pairs of outlets that can be independently turned on and off (6 in all). I like that feature as I can leave inflatables going all day with string lights turned off until its dark and can be seen. While not a huge energy savings, I appreciate any that I can get. The outlets each have their own spring loaded cover to keep them dry if not in use. Most of the items I plug in fit without any issues but items with larger AC adapters may not fit as easily or at all in a few cases. I haven’t found this to be unique to this power tower as others have had the same limitations. This has a 2 part stake that allows it to stand up off the ground helping keep it dry on wet ground. It also has a very long cord unlike most other power strips and towers I use. My only concern I’ve found is with one of the buttons on the remote. The bottom right button, or ALL ON, seems to stick. It works properly but doesn’t “click” like the other buttons confirming by feel that you actually pressed it. It’s almost like it doesn’t pop back up. Aside from that, I am using it with Halloween decorations now and will continue using if for Christmas decortations very soon.
